Great stay, location was great and near two metro stations which connected you to the main sites. It was even walking distance to the eclectic town and Ueno Park. The smart phone which was very handy to have for maps and google searches although most of the metro stations had free WiFi connection available. Staff were very friendly and room was ok. Only negative was it was abit dusty in places. Overall great stay for the price.

Hotel is has a very good localization near 2 metro stations. You can even walk to some of the districts by foot. Staff is very friendly and speaks english. You can make a free coffe in the lobby. There is no restaurant but it's so much better that you can eat in sooo many restaurants that are near hotel. There are also many bars and restaurants just outside the dors of the hotel! Room is small but for two travelers it's enought. It's also very clean - only air conditioning should be cleaned more often. There is a specyfic smell when you enter hotel room but it does not give you a headahe or something. Bed is a bit unconfortable but it easly fits two people. Room is very quiet - you barly can hear anything. Sometimes you hear people walking and talking loudly on the corridor but thats the only thing you will hear. On our floor - 6th - there is a ice machine that you can use for free for drinks. There is also a loundry. The best additional value in this hotel is a smartphone called "handy" which you get in your room. You can take it with you and you have unlimited Internet. It makes traveling, translation etc. in Tokyo very easy, Overall I really recommend this hotel for persons who seek cheap hotel in Tokyo with friendly stuff and free cofffe, smartphone with Google Maps and Internet. You will not find a hotel with better localization in this price range.

This hotel is great value for money, as it provides you with everything you'll need (essentials such as shampoo, towels, razors, conditioner, dressing gown, body wash, fridge, tv, two mirrors next to plugs, decent sized bed, very amazing bath). The hotel's staff are very kind and welcoming, and speak very good English so there isn't a language barrier. If you request it, you can have your room cleaned every day with fresh sheets/towels/toiletries provided. The room is small, but that isn't a problem if you intend to explore Tokyo rather than staying in your room. For 9 days it cost myself and my partner £300, and I think that's great value. You also get tea and coffee in the morning too from 6am-12pm. The only downside I have is that the bathroom has a tiny bit of mold in, as talked about in other reviews, but that isn't a reflection of the hotel's cleanliness. The maids cleaned our room immaculately daily, and the amount of mold is due to the small size of the bathroom. Overall, this hotel is great for value with amazing staff, and I'll be returning to this hotel for sure. (There are also loads of shops and eateries near by, so you'll never be stuck for food or supplies).

Our room was smelling bad and it was very humid inside. Our cloths and bed cloths got wet from the humidity. The air was very bad and we had difficulties to sleep because of that. There was probably a humidity problem at least in that room. The corridors of the hotel were very old and in a bad condition. The staff spoke some English. The location was good (between two metro stations). Wifi worked well.

Since hotels in Tokyo are very pricey, we decided to stay here. The room was very small and it was very difficult for us to open our luggage. But the toilet was okay. Plus, the hotel is near to Kodemmacho St. so it was very convenient.

We stayed 5 nights in Horidome. Location of the hotel is great, 5 minutes walking to 2 subway stations, 10 minutes walking to more. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. We wish we had more time in Tokyo to try all the restaurants nearby. The room of the hotel is just nice to accommodate 2 adults, with bathroom attached.

This hotel is perfect for tourists , great reception, great staff and very clean. We had one of the few larger doubles, very nice. ( I believe the standard doubles are quite small, but still amazing value) Toothbrushes, razors, green tea, slippers, toiletries and dressing gowns all provided. Super position for sight seeing. You also get a "Handy phone "" in your room which you take out with you to access the internet ,google maps etc ( free) !!From Haneda Airport go to Keyku line desk buy a combined return transfer and 3 day Metro pass for £15 approx. Direct line to Ningyocho station exit A5 turn left, keep left, walk 5 minutes to hotel. Cannot stress enough how good this hotel is, and wow the price, we loved it. Tokyo is amazing, go out and explore with confidence! The Japanese are the nicest people you will ever meet,we had people queuing up to help us when we got our Guide book out!! Enjoy the Hotel and Tokyo!

Centrally located. A good base for exploring Tokyo. Near 2 subway stations. Direct access from the airport. Two (2) stops from Akihabara. About 15-20mins to Tokyo Disney Resorts, as well as to West Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya). Convenience stores, supermarket, restaurants and a drugstore nearby. A nice quiet neighboorhood to come home to. Staff speak English well and are very helpful. The rooms are small but clean. Book early to get a good deal. Truly a value for money hotel. Will definitely pick it again when we go back to Tokyo.

Back to Tokyo! Back then this hotel proposed old rooms but cheap prices! This time, what a surprise to find that the rooms were renovated! Don't expect much, it is a typical Japanese room with a small bathroom and a small bed but it was enough for a 1 night-stay. The hotel is located a bit far from the centre and you must walk a bit to find a JR station. The staff was kind as usual and very helpful! There is only one thing that makes me give a 4/5 : you must give the key to the reception every time you leave the hotel... so remember the number of your room! ;-)

We are ok with the small rooms of Tokyo hotels and were quite used to it but this is even smaller and cramped than usual. The carpets had quite a musty smell and even the bathrooms weren’t super clean and the toiletries were quite average. Our room window was leaking and was completely plastered thus blocking any natural light and making the experience gloomier. The hotel is 1.5 km away from Tokyo station and 700m from Shin-Nihombashi station so quite convenient to access that way. Overall won’t recommend even though prices were quite cheap.
