Staff are friendly and location is good if you are hungry at night there are convenience store near by, service is fantastic but the only thing that we notice the room is really too small there is not enough space for your big luggage. But if you are travelling for a short trip and on a budget I think this hotel is not a bad choice.
Dirty, old fashioned bathroom with mould on the ceiling. There was no window in the room. The smell of damp in the room and a small bed for two people (I'm glad I'm a small person ) wasn't a nice experience.
Stayed for a couple of nights with two persons in one room. The upsides: location is great with lots of restaurant options (several cafes & chain around the corner for breakfast, several fish options on the right), metro stop on 5 minutes walk. The downsides: rooms are rather small especially with two persons. All in all good value for money.
We managed to catch the last direct train (we arrived at 10.30pm, we have to run after passing through the immigration to collect our baggage and quickly went through the custom, we arrive the platform 3 minutes before the train depart, thanks to the station staff tht helped us to purchase our subway ticket :D) from haneda airport to ningyocho station. It costs 570 yen for one way. We arrived late, but they allow late check in. The staff is very friendly and is able to speak English. On our second visit to the hotel, we arrived the hotel slightly earlier before the check in time, and they allowed us to check in. As our flight returning to our home country is in late night, they do keep our luggage so we can do our last minutes sight seeing or shopping before we leave. The room is pretty small for 2 big luggages. Put aside this issue, it is value of money as this is normal in Japan.
My husband and I stayed here recently on our first trip to Tokyo and greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very courteous and the rooms were very clean. Compared to Western hotels the rooms were a bit small but contained all the essentials including tub and shower. We were barely in the room so we didn't care about the size. The hotel is a short walk from several local subway stations and a 20 minute walk from Tokyo Station. We will definitely stay here again!
The hotel is nice and clean. It is close to the metro station, however it is about 10 minutes walk from the closest JR station, which you will need if you have a JR pass. The room was small, but it's a common thing in Japan. The staff was nice and helpful.
(+)The property is close to tube stations, convenient stores and Yoshinoya for food. The staff were helpful in terms of giving directions when we needed to go to places of interest. (-)There could have been more space in the room.
Typical for Japan the rooms are small. If you’re a couple and are planning on staying for more than a couple of days I would say the rooms are too small IMO. But for short stays, the positives outweigh this negative. The rooms are clean; the bed was comfortable; noise from inside and outside was barely audible; staff are VERY helpful and polite; location was excellent and all for a great price. Free tea and coffee available through the day in the lobby, self service laundry available, kettle and fridge in the room. Recommended for a short stay.
I stayed twice at the Horidome Vila for a total of seven days. The rooms are small but comfortable--mostly suited for one person; however, some rooms were occupied by two. The staff was friendly and efficient. The wifi was strong and reliable. The non-touristy neighborhood offered numerous good, inexpensive restaurants and bars. Public transportation was nearby and it was possible to walk to numerous sights within an hour or less. I would definitely stay here again.
We returned back to stay at Hotel Horidome Villa again last 13-15 Mar and it was and usual a perfect hotel for us. From Haneda to Ningyocho metro station on Keikyu airport and Toei subway asakusa line cost 610 yen for adult and took you only 40 mins. Once reach Ningyocho please use Exit A6 elevator should you travel with luggage rather than A5 with many stair steps. For A6 exit you will need to across the road and walk along Ningyocho road for 6-7 min to the hotel. With semi double room for 2 people and 2 luggages might look a little small but you sure can manage to put your bags and things. In room provided with 4 free electric outlet and landline as well as wifi. Full amenity including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush with toothpaste, towels, yukatta, TV, refrigerator, kettle etc. Close by is Family mart convenience store and 24hour open Yoshiniya, kyudon ( rice with meat topping ) also not far from the hotel Starbucks and many more restaurants of your choices. We really enjoy Tokyo and come back to rest at the heart of Tokyo in an affordable price. Please enjoy!
