I booked this hotel in Agoda after reading many reviews about this hotel. I was with my sister when I stayed here. The reviews were true because it is affordable and it has a nice location. It is near the mrt stations Kodemmacho and Ningyocho. Beside the hotel are Yoshinoya and Family Mart in case you get hungry or need something. What I didn't like was that they do not automatically clean your room, you need to advise the receptionist to have it cleaned. Also you need to leave the key to the receptionist every time you go out which was quite a hassle for me.
We booked here for a seven night stay, initially we booked two rooms as we were a family of four but after reading reviews, we decided to a book another room as everyone said the rooms were tiny. This was a good move, my hubby and son shared one room, I had a another and my teenage daughter had her on own room, this worked out altogether to about $1500 for all three rooms for the week so amazing value and more importantly they had us all right next door to each other. Now the hotel was nice, the foyer was clean and nice and there was two elevators, there was also vending machines, ice machine, washing machine and dryer and a microwave in the foyer section to the side and in the morning they have free very strong and very hot coffee. The rooms itself was tiny, there is no getting away from the fact but I balanced my suitcase on the chair they provided in the room so I had enough space to move around, there was also a kettle, tv, phone etc. The bathroom was okay the bath was deep but you can't stretch out in it and the water pressure was amazing the strongest I have ever had in a hotel there was plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided and the rooms were serviced daily. It cost about $15 for a taxi from Tokyo station and there are lots of subway station around the place, we ended up using the hibiya line at kodemachio station a lot as this only 300 metres from the hotel however beware of all the stairs at this station which is the only negative also we used Kanda station a few times but that was a 20 minute walk. Also around the hotel there lots of drink vending machines for about 120 yen for each drink. After ther the first night and trying to try the noodle bar next door and getting no service, we mainly stuck to familymart which was next door as they had a good range of meals, salads, sandwiches and some hot food. So all in all the hotel was great and the area is good but very quiet but so close to akihabara and it was nice coming back to a quiet place every night. Highly recommend it.
This hotel was reasonably priced for a couple! It had all the basic amenities that a traveler needs however, the room was too small. The elevator was also so small! Good thing for us because we were just travelling with backpacks but if we brought with us luggages , it would have taken us two trips to bring it to our rooms. What we like about this hotel is the location though. There is a Yoshinoya branch just across the street if you feel hungry in the middle of the night, a Family Mart next to it, a couple of restaurants, and biggest plus? It's just close to the train station.
This hotel is cheap. And so it should be. I'd give it a "Terrible" rating if it were any pricier. The room is so small that there isn't space to hang or put away clothes; it's hard even to have a suitcase on the floor. The bed is very hard. Cigarette smoke from other rooms led to me having a sore chest and you can't open the window. The bathroom is tiny but the shower is powerful and warm. There was a dirty, wet towel in there when I arrived. You have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave. The front desk staff were friendly but it's an inconvenience. It could be okay for one night if you really need to save money but no more.
i book this hotel for cheap price, location is near stasion subway, hibiya line no 14 after akihabara stasion. this hotel near yoshinoya restaurant ( open 24 hours) minimarket, coco curry open from 11am until 11 pm, small room,
Straight to the point: It's infested with black mold, damp, loud and has some very impolite staff. Now for a more detailed analysis. The mold: Big spots on the walls, carpet, ceiling and everywhere in the bathroom. The spots vary from a few millimeters to well over a decimeter. The rooms stink of mold and every night spent there ended with me and my wife having chestpains after waking up. We even changed rooms after the first week because I accidentally knocked the fan grill off its mounting in the bathroom and was showered by big lumps of mold. The staff was very polite about it and changed our room and even carried the bags up to it however that was after them telling us that mold isn't dangerous. Something that is widely known. The new room was a small improvement as it was MUCH less damp but the mold issue still existed. The rest of the hotell is nice and the lobby is extravagant in its modernity. The staff was very inconsistent as some were very nice and polite while others acted more like upperclassmen in their rudeish behaviour, something that is rare to find at hotels in Tokyo. The verdict: The hotell is fine for a day or two as it's well priced however there are Much better hotels to book so I would suggest you do your lungs a favour and keep on looking.
I stayed here in November 2016 in a single room. The room is tiny but it has a window and privacy with clean bathroom and thick walls so you won't hear too much noises from other rooms. The hotel is located half way between Kodemmacho Station and Ningyocho Station so it's in good inter-point to commute around Tokyo. The staff is friendly as usually in Japan and agreed to extend me late check out.
Staff are friendly and location is good if you are hungry at night there are convenience store near by, service is fantastic but the only thing that we notice the room is really too small there is not enough space for your big luggage. But if you are travelling for a short trip and on a budget I think this hotel is not a bad choice.
Dirty, old fashioned bathroom with mould on the ceiling. There was no window in the room. The smell of damp in the room and a small bed for two people (I'm glad I'm a small person ) wasn't a nice experience.
Stayed for a couple of nights with two persons in one room. The upsides: location is great with lots of restaurant options (several cafes & chain around the corner for breakfast, several fish options on the right), metro stop on 5 minutes walk. The downsides: rooms are rather small especially with two persons. All in all good value for money.
