Great location. Close to subway, coffee shops and several 7/11 stores. Denny’s- Asian western fusion and sushi restaurants in close proximity. Short walk to outer fish market and a flat 15 min walk to high end shops in Ginza. Facilities are new and clean. The hotel conveniently has a laundry room with 3 washer/dryers, a gym with cardio machines and a stretch area but no weights. Rooms are small particularly if you have a room for 3 people.. (Just a double with an extra bed.)Bathroom has a bath and a shower. The toilet provided a lot of entertainment for our teenager! For several nights, during our stay ,the hotel was at full capacity. As the hotel is very new the international power adapters we had brought with us were incompatible with the power points in the room. We were unable to obtain an adapter from the hotel reception, for several days,as they had lent them all out. Luckily, the room has several outlets to charge phones/laptops next to the bed heads. I found the lobby area aesthetically pleasing. My only disappointment was with the hotel staff. Unfortunately, on the second and third night of our ten day stay both my son and I became ill and were unable to leave the hotel. Not ideal during our holiday! It was difficult with two people who were ill having to jump over suitcases and navigate beds while running to the bathroom. We noticed that the room next to ours was vacant and as the door was open, during cleaning, we ascertained it was slightly bigger and had a better layout to fit suitcases. We requested, given our circumstances, to be moved to that room as it was vacant and had not been made up. My husband was told that was not possible because it was a higher grade room. However, as my husband pointed out to the staff, the room was listed as the same grade, as the room we had paid for,on the hotel TV, which provides information about the hotel rooms ,facilities and services. The staff then said the room was booked for that afternoon for 2 people who had paid a slightly higher room rate. They also went on to say ‘sorry ‘the room grade information on the TV is incorrect. However, each floor listed the same room grade for the rooms. In reality, we paid for 3 people per night which is a 1/3 more than the rate for 2 people . To be fair ,we would not have requested to move rooms if we had been out and about enjoying our holiday. Had this been the case, I would have said the staff were adequate. Unfortunately,I feel that my husband was misled by the staff, in regards to room classification, and our request was not unreasonable given the circumstances.
It's a compact sized room with sufficient amenities. Very modern. Had everything I needed. A few small eating places close by. Very close to the Sumida River walk if you want to go for a stroll or a jog. Easy access to Tokyo Metro. Walking distance to Ginza. Tried their buffet breakfast. It was crowded with long queues but the food didn't run out. They provided both Japanese and western and it was sufficiently good. They had a kettle in the room for tea but no coffee. However, you can get a takeaway coffee after breakfast (not so good since I normally don't want a coffee so soon after my breakfast coffee). I think the Japanese are obsessed with toilets. All the hotels I have used in Japan have many buttons to push for various 'options'. In this hotel, there's even a light in the bowl in case you want to visit it in the middle of the night and didn't want to turn the lights on (and disturb your partner). It even automatically lifts the lid when you open the door to the toilet and it flushes automatically when it thinks you're done. What will they think of next?
Stayed here as a family from May10-15 of this year. Hotel is a business hotel with sleek lines and modern design concept. Our room was on the 13th floor where we can see partly the Tokyo Tower. Good location in front of a park and is a short walking distance to convenience stores, grocery, restaurants and the subway. I normally bring my own shampoo and conditioner when travelling, however I loved that the hotel has full bottles of shampoo and conditioner which surprisingly smells nice and was good on our hair that I wanted to write the hotel back to ask for the brand. The room was stocked with bottled water daily, as well as tea and whatever else we have used. Overall a very pleasant experience in this hotel.
The hotel was located in a strategic location, from lobby front door walk straight and turn left, the train entrance can be found. This take about 2-3 minutes. And nearby to Tsukiji market. You can literally walk there and go back hotel for a rest before heading to another location. Our room was so comfortable. Great and helpful staff.
The hotel is located in a very nice neighbourhood, with a very nice park nearby. The rooms are quite big, confortable and very clean. The subway station is only 5 min away so it's easy to visit the city by public transport. The personnel is also very helpful.
Family trip for 3 . Room was comfy and very clean. Amenities flawless. Suggest to take up breakfast as good variety of western and Asian selections however I bought my own bread ( local bread is too sweet ) from a local baker and toasted it on premises. Had a great view of central Tokyo and it’s bling lights at night from the big bay window. Don’t expect room for luggage. Just hanging closet . Would recommend hotel to add some hanging hooks closer to bathroom to utilise wall space. Central to Metro stations and main JR line. Nice area with high end retailers closer to main Station. Biggest Chanel neon I have ever seen .!! on designer Boulevarde . Local Markets 7-2pm are amazing for sights, eating and souvenirs. Sitting/ business area in rear of hotel very relaxing to take in local park and cherry blossom trees when in bloom.
Amazing hotel located 1 minute walk from the Metro. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Especially the bathroom which is the best I have ever tried on a hotel. The complimentary products, such as shampoo, is very high quality. Very service minded staff. They helped us book train tickets for Hakone, and wrote down which Metro trains to take to get to the right track. The only downside was when we checked out, they wanted us to use the automatic counter which didn’t work, and in the end they did it for us and it only took 10 seconds. Maybe they should have done that in the first place.
I was looking forward to a nice meal at the hotel’s Octavar Restaurant. Given the room rate I expected quality food. My “beef” pasta contained 2 small spoons of mince and a lot of “beef”. When I asked the Maître D what the glutinous, offal looking substance was he said “beef”. Ridiculous. I handed the dish back to him and left in search of real food.
The check in is 3 machines and one poor employee having to then do everything manually as passport scanning malfunctions. A very poor idea, and the worse service I've ever had at check in throughout Japan. Queues of unhappy people all experiencing the same faceless experience. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to look around other hotels of this level across Japan.
Modern and stylish hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Small room but very comfortable and clean and had an excellent shower. 5 minutes walk from Tsukiji fish market and 30 minutes walk from Tokyo station. Would definitely recommend!
