La cabaña de Lorna en Terlingua Ghost Town es la base perfecta para tus aventuras en Big Bend. Esta cabaña de nueva construcción se encuentra en el corazón del famoso Terlingua Ghost Town. Estará a pocos pasos de toda la historia, arte, gastronomía, bebida y entretenimiento que el Pueblo Fantasma tiene para ofrecer. Desde el Pueblo Fantasma, se encuentra a solo minutos del Parque Nacional Big Bend, el Río Grande, Lajitas y el Parque Estatal Big Bend Ranch.

El hogar es ecológico con energía solar y un tamaño pequeño.

Construida en 2014 como la casa de vacaciones personal de los propietarios, Lorna's Cabin está bien diseñada, es cómoda, atractiva y conveniente. Duerme a dos personas en la planta baja y puede dormir otras dos en el altillo. El loft tiene menos de 3 pies de alto. Es ideal para una pareja o una pareja con niños.

La cocina es pequeña pero está completamente equipada y equipada para la preparación de las comidas. La sala de estar es de tamaño cómodo y acogedora, con un sofá y una silla de cuero y vistas a las montañas de Chisos. El dormitorio tiene una cama nueva y ropa de cama de calidad. El loft para dormir se recomienda para niños debido al techo bajo. Tiene dos camas gemelas nuevas y da a la sala de estar.

Fuera de la cabina hay dos porches cubiertos con vistas a la montaña, un anillo de fuego para fogatas y una pequeña parrilla de carbón.

Well located and very clean

The property was great for our mother son trip. Super clean. Good water pressure and a shower head tall enough for my 6’3” son. Bonus! Beds were comfortable though a little on the short side. I know he is tall but I am 5’10” and my feet were hanging off the edge of the bed. LOL. We didn’t realize from the pictures that the loft required crawling around. No way to even sit up for my son. But he is used to crawling into tents so not that big of a deal. We spent most of our time in the park and just needed a place for sleeping and a hot shower. Walking distance to great local restaurants. The best part was the porch. We spent our evenings outside enjoying the stars and well deserved beers following our hikes. I’d recommend adding cabinet fronts to keep the dust out of the glasses and maybe replacing the sofa. Other than that we would recommend this place for any Big Bend adventure

Beautiful cabin

We stayed at Lorna’s cabin from March 28th til April 1. Very easy to find. A walk away from the famous cemetery and about 15 mins away from BBNP. The place is clean, necessities are there. Plates utensils bbq grill firepit. The patio is a great place to hang out at night. Would definitely want to go back and stay there again. Owners had everything we needed and answers our questions quickly.

Nice Location and Facilities

Great getaway location! Park your car and walk anywhere in the town. I have VRBO properties that I rent out so I'm very picky when I stay at other VRBOs. This property met all of my expectations.

Great location!

I traveled with my husband and 18 year old daughter and there was ample space for all three of us. We absolutely loved being right in the middle of Ghost Town and being able to walk to the nearby restaurants. The cabin was clean with all the needed amenities. It’s also a quick and easy drive to the entrance of Big Bend which was wonderful for super early morning hiking!! I would definitely stay here again.

Great Small House

Lorna’s cabin was perfect for a couple or a couple with one or two children. The property was clean with everything one could need. Great location for access to Big Bend and local restaurants and stores. Would stay again without hesitation.

Comfy cabin in the heart of the Terlingua Ghost Town. Close to restaurants and other amenities. We’ve been to the Big Bend area several times and this was the best accommodation by far.

Nice place to stay as a home base for our trip to Big Bend. About 45 minutes to most hikes, but seems like if not in the park, that will be the case. Great hosts, very quick communication. Cute town with a few good restaurants to eat at.

Perfect for our trip

Lorna's cabin was perfect for our first sibling trip! Two female and one male, we had no issues with the loft or getting up and down. It was amazing to literally be a stones throw away from all the popular spots in the Ghost Town and any meal! We were surprised there was no TV, but it wasn't an issue. Would definitely recommend this stay!

Great location

Had a wonderful stay at Lorna's cabin . Very clean, with comfortable bed. Can walk to restaurants, but very well equipment kitchen if you are wanting to fix meals. Also, very nice to have a connected bathroom, as a lot of the rentals around this one have detached baths. We'll stay again when down visiting, as the entrance to the NP and state park are within 10 to 20 minutes drive or less.

Wonderful Big Bend Getaway!

Property was amazing right outside Big Bend National Park. Super cute, clean and cozy for our family of 4. Kids loved the loft! Totally as advertised. Easy communication with owners who made themselves very accessible if need be. Near everything we needed - we loved walking to all the super fun restaurants right across the road! Would 100% stay here again - LOVED it!!

Perfect Big Bend stay for the family

Great access to the National Park and local amenities of Terlingua. We stayed with our two children 8 and 10 who got a real kick out of the loft sleeping. Great shaded outdoor area. The cabin has all needs covered and set up to cook. The owner advice prior to arriving super useful. Would recommend highly.
