Both bedrooms have a king bed and a private bathroom. The living room has two love seats, smart tv and desk workspace. There is an extra large carafe coffee machine. There is a BBQ grill, outdoor seating and a fire pit. We have multiple properties within walking distance of eachother. Send us a message to inquire about our group booking options!
You will have access to house, patio, pool and surrounding yard on the property. The pool is private to this house only. We will respect your privacy.

This house is off a well maintained county dirt road suitable for any vehicle. We do recommend having a spare tire and equipment to change a tire.
This house is in an area that is under a dark sky ordinance. Please turn outdoor lights off when not in use and be mindful of minimizing light pollution at night. There are a few other rentals in the neighborhood, please be respectful of your noise level after sunset. We do not supply fire wood or charcoal, you will need to purchase some locally or bring it. There is a large ravine in the back yard as well as a pool and many sharp cactus therefore we recommend children have supervision at all times while outdoors. PLEASE BRING DRINKING WATER OR PLAN TO PURCHASE IN TOWN. The water source for the home is untreated well water. It is fine for showering, washing dishes, etc.
Please be advised that use of any outdoor cooking equipment in or near any building structures (to include balconies, awnings, porches, etc.) is strictly prohibited as it presents a fire hazard. Any use of outdoor cooking equipment must take place on flat ground and a minimum of 20 ft away from any building structures on the property. Upon completion of cooking on any outdoor cooking equipment, guests must immediately and thoroughly extinguish the heat source.
Guests must use caution while walking on the property, especially at night when it can be very dark. Guests need to be alert while outside to avoid tripping on rocks, or contacting local vegetation (cacti, etc.) and animals (snakes, etc.). Guests, their children, and pets are strictly prohibited from entering within 15 feet of the edge of any cliff, arroyo, crevasse, overhang or similar elevated drop off. Guests assume responsibility/risk for exploring the property.
Strict PET POLICY: Pet policy: Pets are welcome but they must be included on your reservation at the time of booking. If you are booking for two people and one pet, please ensure that the pet is shown when you reach the confirm and pay screen. We ask that you and your pet adhere to the following rules. Dogs are not allowed on the bedding or furniture. Pets are not to be left unattended in the room unless crated. You will be billed for any damages caused by pets in your reservation.
Please make sure that umbrellas are closed during windy conditions, and at your time of checkout. If umbrellas are damaged due to being left open, you will be billed for a replacement umbrella.

No extra guests are allowed on property beyond the total number of guests that are booked on the reservation without prior permission. Anyone who will be on the property must be added to the guest count and included in the reservation. We do have an option to add an extra guest fee for guests counts past 4, this covers water usage, trash, laundry, wear and tear as well as housekeeping. Bringing an RV that is self sufficient? **NOTE** this house has well water that can, at times, have a strong sulfur smell. This is not abnormal, and not harmful.

Pool House number 2 was a perfect home base for our Big Bend National Park trip. The house had everything we needed and was in a beautiful location (close enough to town, but far away enough to enjoy nature). My family (2 adults, 2 older kids) loved our stay here and definitely would recommend it to anyone and already are thinking about our return trip.

Great spot for family of 4
This is a great layout with two master suites and really nice outdoor area. Very close to one of the Big Bend NP entrances and enjoyed being near Terlingua Ghost town. For city dwellers, it has untreated well water, which I think stains the showers. It’s also a very nicely finished trailer. Many of the places in the area are trailers; just don’t be surprised.
