Arrived at hotel 1.30pm, had to wait 3 hours for our room, then allocated a cheaper room than we had booked. It took 24 hours for us to be moved to a room for which we had paid, no apology, no nothing. Restaurant queuing for the ticket entrance was ridiculous. The tables in the restaurant are too close for comfort, the food was good, self service, but it did have a feel of a canteen. I expected better from this 4 star hotel. Will find another hotel next visit to Tenerife.
Just returned from a great two weeks holiday at the H10. This hotel is situated in a great position beach close by prom bars and restaurants. There is a great pool area no trouble getting a sunbed .The food is really good plenty of choice.Rooms are fine the one thing that was wrong was that the fridge was full of their drinks which if I did not want would cost me €10 to empty so I could put my bottles of water in. Anyway the entertainment is top class some really good acts at night congratulations to the work of Dani Marina & Dania for making this holiday something special.
We stayed at this hotel last week, a real delight. Our room was H9, ground floor with a fantastic view. All the staff were pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, the food was varied and good quality. We would definately return to this hotel and highly recommend it to friends and family.
Stayed at this hotel for 9 nights from 31.10.17 on privilege. First of all let me get the negatives out of the way, The privilege package has been a victim of its own success, over the last seven years we have visited here on privilege and have been well looked after by Maria gorge and her team giving outstanding service second to none. But this year we noticed many more sun beds packed together all full giving an atmosphere not associated with privilege, In the morning we noticed that we had gone back in time to the days when you had to get up early to put towels on the sun beds, this carried on until the eighth day when the staff removed all towels not allowing you on to the sun deck until 9am. The mirador restaurant could do with enough staff to service it’s guests thanks go to the excellent service given by Angela But some guests walked out having to wait far to long to be served. The menu has not changed and could do changing every other week to give variety and for some dishes you have to pay a surcharge for which when you pay 68 euro per night per couple is a bit cheeky also you are charged for your drinks in this restaurant. Why do we return year after year along with many other guests? 1 the hotel is sited in a great location 2 the staff are excellent 3 the hotel is kept very clean 4 the rooms are good and have great views 5 a 4star hotel giving 5star service If you wish to visit Tenerife you would not go wrong staying here Thanks again to Maria and all the team , we will look forward to our next visit
We first visited this hotel in November 2015 and I wrote a negative review, but we decided to give it a second try. We have just returned and this time we have been very happy with everything from check in to check out. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and the special requests I asked for were delivered. There have definitely been changes since the last time. Thank you to all the staff and Maria Jorge.
Although our room was very nice it was directly above the huge air conditioning units which were very noisy however we got moved the next day to a lovely room with a pool view the entertainments were directly below us but this didn't bother us much as we were either at them or out for the evening the room was very spacious & clean with a large walk in shower towels were changed every day & housekeeping very good.Drinks etc were quite expensive in the hotel everything is charged to your room if you want a kettle you have to pay extra I brought my own food is beautifully laid out & plenty of variety I'm a fussy eater but I'm sure it catered for most tastes most nights were themed a Japanese night a British night etc overall a lovely hotel with lovely friendly staff if you decide to go privilege there's a few more options open to you private lounge a la carte restaurant etc
We hadn't been to Tenerife for many years,so decided it was time for a visit. We chose this hotel after deciding on location and that it was adult only.First impression of the hotel was how clean and neat the entrance and grounds were. While waiting for our room to be ready we were given a glass of champagne, nice touch after a long journey. The room was really great we had a junior suite with sea view.We decided on half board and wasn't disappointed..,the food was of good quality and the choice brilliant.Pool areas were all good with lots of sun beds .The entertainment was varied but we did go out in the evenings. We didn't find any downsides to the hotel.Would have loved to have stayed another week.
We have just returned from our latest visit to this hotel. We have visited many times and in our opinion the staff, facilities and food were outstanding as usual. Perfect position overlooking the beach. The rooms are spotless. Maria from public relations was very helpful as usual.
Stayed here in August/September with my boyfriend and his family and had a really lovely day at this hotel. The hotel inside and outside is very beautiful, the rooms were gorgeous and always very clean, the pool area was really big, there were 3 pools, one heated and even held a champagne/foam pool party which I think may be on every week or two which was absolutely brilliant! My favourite part of this hotel was probably the lovely bar area which overlooked the beach and sea and had the most perfect view of the sunset. We went half board so got breakfast and evening meal, the breakfast was brilliant, food always warm, a lot of choice and was really nice. The food on an evening however I didn't like so much, I thought the food was pretty bland and there was only one night that I actually liked which was a Chinese night, which made me not actually look forward to the evening meal and we sometimes went elsewhere. Also my boyfriends sister and boyfriend went to the same hotel the previous year and they paid a lot less money for more, better/bigger hotel room with sea view and balcony etc which I thought was quite bad but suppose we did go at a busy time. Another thing I didn't like was the amount they try to take money from you, for example you got a very small fridge in your hotel room which was full of food and drink (at ridiculous prices) and we couldn't fit any of our own water in there, to request for someone to take all this food and drink out of the fridge it cost 40 euros which I thought was unnecessary, resulting in us always having to drink warm water in the night when we were too hot cause nothing could fit in the fridge. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were very polite and friendly, the hotel was in a brilliant location close to shops and bars and the hotel was very beautiful and always clean. I would definitely return but I think they should look into the food and the 40 euro charge for emptying the fridge.
Stayed here in February for my Friend's 40th Birthday. We had 2 rooms. Was an amazing hotel. Food was good, as were the animation team. table service drinks in the bar were the entertainment is. They operate a no cash policy and you pay direct at reception, either on departure or at any time during your stay. This hotel has wonderful sea views. Not all of the rooms have sea views, but they are all, very clean and recently refurbished and very modern. staff are also very friendly. On my friends 40th birthday the restaurant team, bought out a cake and a bottle of champagne at breakfast (we were going out at dinner). this really made our holiday and made my friend feel really special! Location of this hotel if fab, short walk along the promenade to Playa one way and Costa Adeje the other. Thanks for a great holiday.
