Our second time in Tenerife. The only reason we did not go to the amazing hotel we had last time (grand tacande) was because we wanted a sweet water pool. My kids 8 and 5 year old are pool lovers like me and apparently very few hotels have sweet water pools in Tenerife. So the pools were great but the food is bad breakfast and dinner we found to be not very high quality not much diversity. The kids activities are very difficult to follow no one knows where something is happening and at what time. The night activities for kids were not interesting for the kids. My wife also complained about the quality of the room and hotel in general but I am a man what do I know... Next time we will look for a better Hotel with sweet water...

I can only offer people advise in the 10 days we stayed at the H10 8th - 18th April 2017. We booked and paid for a room with a pool/sea view, we had neither, all we had was a concrete pillar and tree obstructing any chance of a view ,a few days later the hotel offered to move ourselves. Whilst staying at the H10 they were refurbishing the rooms two floor above us and the pneumatic drill started at 11.00am in the morning and carried on through the day until 6.00pm, it was extremely loud for us on the 3rd floor but it must have been unbearable for those on floor 4. If you like loud music and average food then you won't be disappointed, you have to pay for the safe 3 Euros per day and if you want a kettle in your room this is another 4 Euros per day.

Emergency construction on floor 6 is making all rooms from 650,550 and 450 very noisy from 11am until 5pm. The work is likely to last until 24 April at least. Management moved our room but congealed dried blood on the new bathroom floor was not expected. Sakura will leave you hungry with small portions and a disjointed approach to serving. The manager (Isaac) of Tosca refused to speak with me because I was wearing shorts! An arrogant and disrespectful way to deal with a guest who has a simple query, unbelievable!! Overall the service team are friendly.

I know this hotel for many years and never disappointed me once. Great place to stay, staff nice and polite rooms big and specious. Great breakfast choices and dinner is good too. Very beautiful surroundings and great peaceful beach front location. Awesome gardens and very nice swimming pool. Definitely one of my favourite hotel on Island.

Returned to this Hotel having stayed last year, Rooms of a good stanadard with good choice of pillows. Room on same level as last year. Noticed new carpets had been fitted. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Great choice of food at breakfast and a good level of service from staff. Room on level 5 very quiet and comfortable. Nice pools with a good jaccusi. Area nice with good coastal walk to nice sandy beach. Supermarket and pharmacy close by. 2 nice resturants close to the hotel plus a new cocktail bar. Negatives, the juccusi was contantly full of young children using it as a pool despite signs saying a minimum age limit of 12 years. This has safety issues as its not covered by lifeguards. I saw a small child having to be pulled out as the parent was nowhere to be seen. No excuse as there are 2 childrens pools that are policed by lifeguards. The pool resturant service was very poor. Sat for 30 mins and in the end had to ask for menu's. Then getting someone to come and serve us was a nightmare. We watched the same happen to other people with some just walking out. Hopefully this was an off day as service at breakfast could not be better. All in all l would go again, the correction of the negatives ive noted would make it an excellant place and add to the enjoyment.

We have stayed in other H10 hotels so we knew what sort of standard to expect. The hotel is in a quieter location which we liked. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We upgraded to the privilege package which was excellent value and we enjoyed being served for our meals. The food quality was very good and presented beautifully. A top floor room meant we had good views and it was quiet. However, the hotel whilst clean needs to be refurbished in many areas. The bathrooms need to be updated and chairs in public areas appeared worn. For this reason not sure that we will return despite many positives

Myself and my husband have just returned from a week's stay at this hotel. Good size room with balcony on second floor over looking gardens. Had mishap on our first evening. Arrived from airport around 8.30 pm and went straight down to restaurant for dinner. Rather than take the long way through all the corridors we took a short cut through the gardens. Wonderful meal and returned to our room to start unpacking. A short while later we decided to go to the bar for a drink and took the same short cut through the gardens. Unfortunately it was dark by this time and what looked like a path turned out to be a pond and my husband fell into it up to his neck. Luckily I was there to pull him out. There was no lighting in this area. At reception I was told that they would cover the cost of laundry - "it was only fair" they said. The following day customer service contacted us to find out what happened and if he was okay. The lady from the Privilege desk asked us to show her exactly where he had fallen in. That was the last we heard. No lighting was in place by the end of the week or even a boulder to block the area. This could have been very serious if my husband had hit his head on a rock as there were many surrounding the pond. We put this behind us and had a great holiday, everything else being perfect. Good location with nice walks in both directions along the promenade. The food was the best we have had in any hotel. Entertainment not so good. All in all we enjoyed our week but I do think that management should have given us some sort of special treatment - like upgrading us or covering our bill for extras. We paid that bill and it was only while we were waiting for a taxi to leave that I noticed the laundry charge had not been cancelled. Back to reception and this was refunded without an apology - I wasn't impressed.

Upgraded to the privilege rooms as we traveled as a party of 6 girls celebrating our 50th year. Fantastic choice of hotel, food was delicious, drinks were all included even the branded ones with the privilege package. Special area for sun bathing, with a very attentive waiter - Michele, who could not do enough for us, providing samples of food and drinks throughout the day. Hair dryer and expresso coffee machine in the rooms, free safe and WIFI within the hotel. Set right on the beach within easy access to the neighboring resort of Playa de las Americas, 15 euros each way in a taxi. Suits couples, families, friends and even the single traveller.

Just got back from 12 days Half Board, we were allocated a room on floor 3 (386) same level as reception although we had requested a high floor, however the room was excellent with a garden view, room safe was an extra 3 Euro per day though. Positive points about the hotel : Good location, constant improvements being made ie the carpets were replaced in the corridoor leading to our room while we were there, Fridge in the room which is left empty for you to store your own beer & wine, the food is excellent and varies every night we did not see the same thing served during our 12 days. Entertainment was very good always something to do during the day and excellent singers / pianist's on an evening. Three swimming pools one of which is heated. Negative points: None of the swimming pools have a shalow end or gradual acces which is not good for the elderly or inferm. Although sinage indicated that lilows inflateables etc were not allowed in the pool, this was not enforced. pool bar staff could not cope at busy times causing ques of up to 10 people waiting to buy a drink. Tips on Location: directly opposite the hotel is a pharmacy a few shops and a supermarket where you can get a litre of beer for 1.50 Euro a meal deal for luch of any sandwich soft drink and a box of pringles for 3 Euro, there is also an excellent cocktail bar, if you like gin try the premium selection which is 9.50 Euro. Bus stop just past the pharmacy 3 Euro to Los Christianos, where there is a huge market on a Sunday. Exit via the back gate turning left a nice stroll of about 20 mins takes you to the Fanabe area.

Beautiful BIG hotel with superb gardens and pools, hotel didn't seem to have much entertainment or atmosphere, a piano bar in the foyer but we didn't see much else. Outside grounds stunning with a running waterfall and water running round the grounds in walled streams. Security gates from the gardens lead to the stoney beach but a great place to sit and watch the big waves crashing onto the shore also from the gates a pathway along the seafront leading off both sides of the hotel to stroll along during the day or evening. We had booked B & B for the week, the breakfast had everything and any thing you would want and more, excellent food. Very impressed. Service good.
