Arrived at hotel on day 1 of holiday for all inclusive week, asked reception on arrival if we had coffee making facilities where she replied it was €20 deposit plus €1 for every day we where here and they would not supply tea coffee sugar or milk, as well as removing any stock we did have including cups every day from room. This was the first complaint. (This is an all inclusive holiday). It was a late arrival first day so looked forward to the breakfast next day , Disappointing to say the least. Cold hard “full English”. Not much option if your teeth aren’t made of bricks, there is ready made porridge which tastes like spoiled rice, other than the hot plate where they would cook fish or stakes etc all food terrible, restaurant smelled of rotten fish most of the time also which put u off the food, so much to write about the food I can’t continue and give a true representation. Rooms, bed sheets not changed in full week and when I asked reception they clams they shouldn’t get dirty in a week, this I would agree if I didn’t have lotion or oil on and wasn’t sweating at night. and the fact you are living in a small room for the duration. Cleaners did come to room but dust all over tables, mirrors streaky, balcony dirty, towels changed 5 out of the 7 days here, Room stayed in where updated ones but look10 years old with cracks on ceiling and walls, Pool area is a mess also with cracked tiles and just looks a complete hazard for young children. Drink looks impressive until u taste it. They basically flip what would be the vidka and lemonade for instance, meaning it’s a shot of lemonade and the rest vodka but the whole thing tastes of water. Not sure how they managed it with the bear but I spent most of the holiday sober although at the bar for most of it. Staff are friendly but anyone can be friendly and still not know what they are doing. All in all avoid this hotel, After reading other reviews and seeing the manger reply with the like of ‘I am surprised’ ‘this is not the usual review’ I would expect the same for this one.
loved the hotel we were given a refurbed room and it was spotless. the maids were incredible and looked after us well. food was ok not great but definitly edible. the location is perfect central to everything. great shopping and places to eat. i highly recomend harleys. unfortunately i've come home with a hole in my head through banging it on a light fitting placed directly above the bed. planning at its worst :( but thank you for an amazing holiday :)
Have been to this hotel. Many times and will continue using it . Many staff are well known to us now and react accordingly. One slight point is the lack of tablecloths at dinner, probably removed to save money, overall look less than expected in this fine hotel
Not a huge hotel so service was very personal and friendly. Very chilled out atmosphere especially in the restaurant. No pushing and shoving and always lots of tables and no long queues. Bar was also the same. Good location for all amenities too. Will return.
We have visited 3 different 'Be Live Experience' Hotels in the last 2,5 years and this is the second time for this one. The hotel rooms were better as we stayed Club. The staff were very friendly except the bar manager next to the main dining room who was a bit dour and never opened on time when we went there. The Club dining room was very comfortable but the food and table wine was not up to the previous standard. Not so many staff to keep the food trays going with a lot more waiting for same to be replaced. Not enough staff on reception, at one point there were 8 of us waiting and only one girl on the desk. At one point a man looked out of the office and immediately turned back. I never saw the manager once speaking to clients to ask if they were enjoying themselves. If it was not for this I would have given it the 5 points
Food is cold at times needs to be upgraded or pizza cold can’t cut pastry because it’s hard large prawns was old could not peel either over cooked or old stock Asia night bamboo shoots awful Mexican night been to Mexico this was not like Mexican food people would not go to Mexico if it taste like this
Absolutely loved this hotel! The food was great, they had a good variety every day they put on a full buffet for lunch which most hotels don’t do and had themed dinner nights! The hotel room was great we had booked an ocean view room and it was beautiful! The staff were amazing I can honestly say they have the best staff from the bar to the pool side entertainment to the night time entertainment to the kids club and the restaurant area they’re all so kind and friendly and happy to help you! The pool side entertainment was fabulous they had games and dances and shows every day and they made such a big effort to get you involved and make you feel welcome! The sun chair situation is a problem as they have very few but the life guards do assist you if someone doesn’t return to their lounger within an hour they’ll put their stuff in reception and free up the lounger for you! Honestly rave about this hotel all the time! Had a great time and can’t wait to book again!
This hotel was excellent,position,cleanliness,service.The food selection was extensive but could have been served hotter.the staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful.the pool area was very good with plenty of loungers,but like all hotels the instruction to not put towels on them was completely ignored
Hotel is the good location for getting out and about as it's close to the beach, restaurants, bars & shops. Staff are all friendly and attentive & room clean and spacious, Food very good in fairness good quality for money paid (In the restaurant there's a different theme every night ). However , we did not feel like we are in 4 stars hotel, rather like 3stars or less. When you in 4 stars hotel you expect that small things like room safe lock, free Wi-Fi in your room will be included into your price... it seems that is a way of all spanish hotels. This trip wasn't our first to Spain and over and over again those small things are "missing". I do not understand why this is not included in a price. For example,during my trip to Barbados , I stayed at 3 stars hotel AND I had safe lock & free wi-fi included in room price. In Europe, all 4 stars hotels (except Spain of course) also have it , because this is standard service. I do not understand why in Spain is different. Apart of this above -OK.
This hotel was a great location 5 mins walk to the beach. Lots of shops outside lots of areas to walk to. The STAFF are AMAZING and what make this hotel, except for the room maid I think ours only changed the towels, in the week we stayed she never cleaned the bath or any surface areas, she left the TV on once " music Chanel" and more worrying left the door unlocked. The room was on the 9th floor we paid extra for a sea view which we got if we looked round the side so we felt cheated on this. It was an upgrade room all tho the bathroom wasn't upgraded at all the toiletries were packet wrapped only soap, shower cap no shower gel or separate shampoo or conditioner which I was annoyed about as I'd emailed before asking if they provided this and told yes so didn't take my own . All that was there was an all in one shower gel / hair shampoo on the wall so out dated and not good for your hair. The bed base was to small for the mattress so it hung over the sides room wasn't finished to a great standard. This let the hotel down. Positive was like I say the staff everywhere so so friendly & helpful, the food was amazing and themed each night, it was all so good we eat way to much 😊 drink choice for all inclusive was very good. Entertainment was every night and was fairly good for all inclusive something good each day. The pool area was lovely, lots of sun loungers and modern plenty of room and good size pool. Pool towels were for hire of €10 each for a week. Sadly for us the resort let this holiday down, it was dirty lots of street beggars and shockingly on an early morning walk at the beach front we witness two young men snorting coke in full view of who ever was up. So sad... so because the resort let it down we won't be returning.
