South Coast Winery Resort and Spa

We chose to stay at South Coast because of its convenient location. The hotel was clean and had all of the needed amenities. We ate at thee restaurant and both the service and the food were excellent. Although we did not use the spa facilities, we walked around the area and it was very nice. We went hot air ballooning which left at the crack of dawn less than one mile down the rode. It was do nice being so close so that we were able to sleep a little longer.

We stay here from time when we need some quiet time and some swimming. The room and pool are very nice. The weather kept us from the pool and that is one of the best parts of our staying there. The restaurant is quite good and uncrowned during midweek. Prices are a bit high but tolerable. Lots of vineyard views along with gardens.

Beautiful hotel with great customer service from staff. A must stay if your in area, or to take a special trip with loved one.

Property is in excellent shape, whirlpool and pool very relaxing and landscape very tropical. Wine tasting on site, lobby area a little disappointing in that no coffee available or water.

This is such a nice hotel. Upon arriving I was greeted by a nice gentleman at the check in desk. He made me feel welcome and that was nice after my long drive in. The girl who checked me in was really informative and efficient. The hotel is secure, safe and spotless. The restaurant is within walking distance as well as other wineries. The food was delicious, coconut shrimp with mango salsa.. OMG!! Kudos to the chef at Vineyard Rose. Overall a relaxing stay, hated to leave!

This hotel is one of my favorites! We are members at pints monte but we always stay here . The banana foster pancakes are the best to wake up to.

Nice spacious room with comfortable beds. Great staff at every turn. Wonderful location!

Food and drink was very good. Timing for room cleaning could be better. Had to ask for housekeeping. And then had to ask for towels. And the phone was not working

Excellent restaurant, we always enjoy our stay at South Coast Winery Resort

We had a lovely stay. I wish there were more lights on the grounds, we probably would've walked around more.

WE PICKED THIS HOTEL TO CELEBRATE OUR 33 YEAR ANNIVERSARY AND OUR FIRST ROOM WAS IN THE TOWER AND WAS BEAUTIFUL (ESPECIALLY ON THE 3RD FLOOR). THERE WAS A WATER ISSUE OR UPGRADE SO WE WERE RELOCATED TO THE VILLAS WHICH WE WERE ASSURED IT WAS AN UPGRADE FROM FIRST ROOM. THE VILLA WAS IN NEED OF A MAJOR REMODEL. I THINK A REMODEL WOULD MAKE THE VILLAS A 5 PLUS STAR ROOM BUT FOR NOW, THE CARPET IS RAGGED AND DIRTY. THE HOUSE KEEPING WAS A 2 AT BEST, NO SOAP LEFT FOR THE SHOWER AND THEY NEVER VACUUMED OUR ROOM. THE SUPERVISOR OF THE RESORT DID COMP US A VERY NICE DINNER AT THE ROSE. FOOD MOST EXCELLENT. LOVED THIS HOTEL FOR THE MOST PART. I AM NOT SOMEONE WHO WOULD COMPLAIN BUT THE VILLA WAS NOT UP TO STANDARDS FOR COST.

We had an excellent time. The accommodation were outstanding

Next to the pool and no privacy from pool users. No water bottles and

Beautiful resort. Be sure to visit the restaurant at night and listen to the great piano music. And, check out Roffo Winery.

We were pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to a villa.

We loved being able to walk to the restaurant and tasting room.

Chose to stay at South Coast instead of Pala Casino where our company xmas party was being held. Checked in right at 4, and received some perks for staying: like 4 free wine tastings and some food. Room was amazing, would like to stay longer next time. Love the tub, shower, and electric fireplace. Did our wine tastings, there were some excellent deals on their wine. Next morning had an amazing breakfast at their restaurant. Pancakes were amazing. Will definitely stay again sometime!!!

We stayed in a villa for our anniversary. The room was very comfortable with a small private patio, jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Aside from being wedding central, it was very quiet and restful. The only thing I a little less pleased about was dinner at their restaurant. Our steaks were unspectacular and dessert was incredibly disappointing. Overall though, we enjoyed the property and would return.

Our stay with South Coast was very nice. While there we stayed in a Villa and took advantage of the Restaurant, Spa, and Tasting room which were all very nice. Make sure do the behind the scenes tour! All the staff were lovely and worked hard to make your stay memorable. The one thing I would say is to be prepared for extras! They charge $125 per night as a hold fee, adding an additional $150 if you charge a bit to your room. This money takes 2-3 days to come back to your account, even if you settle up with a different card.

Staff is amazing like usual. Our first stay here was in their villas and our most recent stay was in their tower. Both are extremely comfortable and beautiful. With rooms like theirs, you almost do not want to go do anything else. All their amenities are great and you even get free wine tasting with your stay. Planning another trip to them in a couple of weeks and the wife and I cannot wait.
