The restroom was old and the rust around the base of the shower showed it. The motion light in the restroom was crazy, going off in the middle of you doing your business on the toilet and while showering. The shower was cramped and not pleasant to shower in. Jefferson Rd must be the local race track. I chose that side of the property to stay away from the freeway noise on the other side but it didn't matter because the drag racing was just as bad. Front desk staff was very nice and very pleasant smell when entering the hotel. Handicap door release didn't work and should be a priority to fix. Temecula is a beautiful city to visit amd I hope the hotels will reflect the city's value to make ot an unforgettable experience.

First a $100. Deposit, I've never had to pay for a deposit from any hotel and i have to wait upto 10 days for reimbursement. Pipes around bathroom walls continue to make a knocking sound throughout my stay. Shower tile grout and cocking has mildew room 326.

We choice this hotel for the pool and spa. But it was not working. The room was nice, The bed was good. The brekfast was good . But we will not came back again on this trip because no pool and they still take a lot of money for a stay.

There was a note on the front desk saying that the Hotel will be under renovation soon. This was my third time staying at this Hotel over a few years and I'm seeing that it has declined, so it's past due. Also, I wish Holiday Inn Express would changed their breakfast options. I'm so tired of the run-of-the-mill food, and I'm sure others feel the same way. Coffee is always good.

Very mixed feelings about my stay here. Older rooms/no frills, and some minor issues, but overall not… bad…? The good: Free close parking, quick and easy check in, friendly front desk staff, safe and convenient location, reasonable price (especially for a weekend). Comfortable and clean beds. Cold a/c. Shower was clean. Decent quality free breakfast. My kids thought the outside looked “like a castle” The not so good: The pool was closed for renovation. In August. In Temecula. Was bummed but my kids wouldn’t have been disappointed had that been mentioned when making reservation, or in my confirmation, or at check in. But nope. Headboard had name carved in it. Kids found a dirty t-shirt, hair tie, sharp nail, food wrapper, and several buttons on the floor in various places in the bedroom. Bathroom had random patches of peeling wallpaper covering… I’m not sure what. The puzzling: Made a reservation for 2 adults and 2 kids. There were 2 bath towels in the room. Had to bother housekeeping one day and the front desk the next for additional towels. Everyone was quick to help, but I kinda feel like they shouldn’t have had to? The furniture, elevator, tv, a/c, shower etc. were all older and a little beat up but worked just fine. All of the staff were extremely pleasant. Despite the fun surprises my kids found I felt like the rest of the room was clean-ish. Would I stay here again? Maybe. But I’d call and ask about the pool first. And check the floor before my kids do.
