The hotel and room were old and dirty. They were obviously doing construction and it just looked very rundown. Wallpaper was falling off, drapes were dirty. Cleaning staff didnt put the garbage bag in the can, just draped it over. Saw a rat in the parking lot.

The Room was clean and smelled nice. The staff were courteous and pleasant. The parking lot lights were not working. I'm assuming since the location is near a In & Out hangout it keeps the youngsters from filtering over to the hotel parking log. It also keeps loitering down but it is a bit scary coming in at night.

Next to freeway. Front desk did not inform me they were charging me $100 for deposit. I saw charge on my bank account. Front desk women on check out Friday was mean in a bad mood with no smile while I was cheerful said beautiful day today. Young lady and no good customer service. Rooms weren’t clean. Beds looked like if the sheets were wrinkled as if previously used and only quickly fixed before check in. Restroom had previous towels. Mattresses should be changed. We had to set our ow fold out bed with sheets because there was no sheets already in the room.

I would have given a 5 star because the Hotel and staff are deserving of it only problem is there is not enough lighting in the parking lot. In fact there is no lighting at all--needs to be addressed and corrected.
