Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel

Excellent Tbilisi hotel

Just stayed at the Radisson for 5 nights. Caught a cold so had to spend 1/2 my trip in the room resting. It was a nice room to hole up in. Great views, very spacious, nice tub to relax in. The location was very good to. I walked everywhere and enjoyed it as a home base. Check out a show at the nearby Pantomime theater. High-end shops, musuems, grocery stores are all nearby. The happening section of town is about a 15 minute walk, but a pleasant and fast one. Only downside is the traffic when crossing the street near the hotel. Crossing the wide avenue with fast drivers coming in both directions is tricky, but I got a hang of it--and you can always take a taxi or the underpass (but it looked spooky). The rooftop pool and bar are nice. Sadly you can't find many places in Georgia that are non-smoking, so I wasn't able to enjoy a bite on the rooftop bar/restaurant (especially with a cold), but there is a non-smoking section in the downstairs restaurant which is rare in Tbilisi. I'd certainly stay again.

Holiday Inn Tbilisi

Simple Opinion

The hotel is a refurbishing of an existing facility. But it is done nicely. Breakfast was too pricy for what was available. Access to the Metro was great just across the street. There was no concierge service which was inconvenient. All of the hotel people were very friendly. I wouldn't mind staying there again. However, I did not find anything in Georgia that would cause me to return.

Courtyard by Marriott Tbilisi

staff

The staff at the reception desk and common areas during my stay were extremely professional and always went out of there way to help. I travel all around the world, and the staff here (especially the reception desk) made for a pleasurable stay and I would rate them in the top. Thank you.

Hotel New Metekhi

Nice hotel close to old town

A small hotel in a great location, the room was as we requested, but the sofa looked a little bit old and dirty
