Our room was excellent facing Freedom square but high up so the traffic was not a problem. we found the buffet breakfast to be of a good standard and the staff were very helpful. There is a bank/money exchange in the foyer with at the time reasonable exchange rates.
In the heart of Tblisi. Great location to walk to old town and restaurants. However it is located right at the largest round about which makes its so very loud. I would not stay here again because of this. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The staff was SUPER!! Breakfast is not provided unless you have it included in the price prior to booking. Otherwise it cost around $20.00. Best part for me was I could walk to the Catholic Church and attended mass.
Nicely located hotel. Friendly staff. Worth the stay especially for a first time traveller to Tblisi. Definitely recommend staying here. The in house dining options are also good and sometimes overlooked. Quiet hotel in a very busy part of the city.
The pros: The hotel is downtown Tbilisi, few steps from the historical area, located in the famous Freedom Square. The cons: Rooms need refurbishment and those facing Freedom Square on the lowest floors would definitely need major works to be truly sound-proof; breakfast was far from special. I had a snack lunch which was fine, giant portions with nice staff. I must say that the staff was extremely hospitable and that may compensate other hotel deficiencies.
I have stayed here for two days! To say the truth I can't imagine such a perfect and amazing hotel in Georgia!it was valuable, the serving was perfect , everybody speaks English fluently, they are friendly towards their guests, the breakfast wS a good choice, the room was cleaned every morning! So I do recommend this hotel!
If you are staying in Tbilisi as a tourist this is a perfect location for you. All our sightseeing tours either started or ended at the Liberty Square. Everyone at the reception and breakfast is very nice. Special thanks to Tako at the reception.
Stayed here for 3 nights in room 202 overlooking Freedom Square. Great view, slight traffic noise but not enough to keep you awake. Lovely large room with bathroom with bath. Kettle and tea/coffee provided unlike most hotels on our trip. Easy walk to restaurants in downtown. Very good breakfast and staff really welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel in Tbilisi.
This hotel in Freedom Square is a really good place to start to explore Tblisi. The hotel is first rate , rooms very good, staff exceptional and attentive particularly reception. The breakfast was good also We stayed here for three nights and would certainly recommend this hotel
We had such a great stay, thanks to Natia and Nini at the reception desk as well as the amazing location of the hotel. We were able to walk everywhere and got excellent recommendations from Natia and the other reception staff on where to eat and what to see. They also helped us arrange transportation at a better rate than what we were initially told. Furthermore, the room was large, comfortable and clean compared to the other places we had seen. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Tbilisi.
Let me start with the good. LOCATION. CLEANLINESS AND CONDITION. Now to the opportunities. Front desk is lousy no sense of customer service and the staff is clueless when asked questions related to the city and connectivity in general. We arrived very late in the night and did not find anyone to help with our luggage so had to drag it up the entry stairs to the front desk and then to the room after check in without being offer s luggage assistance. The housekeeping lady "had a trainee" badge was the highlight of this hotel she at least was friendly in interaction. Total lack of customer experience and to sum it up at check out in the morning we again dragged our bags through the lobby out the front door and down the stairs and the one employee in uniform at the door watched us struggle through the process. Definitely not expected from a Marriott hotel where we paid premium to stay.
