The hotel is very well located in the Freedom Sqaure and you can get some great views from the rooms. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful, especially Maiko in the restaurant area makes sure she welcomes all her guests with her warm smile! We had a very comfortable stay in the cosy and well maintained rooms.
The courtyard tblisi is perfectly located for any family wishing to visit tblisi. It is centrally located, right on freedom square, there is a new shopping mall right next door and a dunkin donut right across the street. Halal food also available at Mado across the road.
Courtyard Marriott located at Freedom Sq Tbilisi walkable distance to dry bridge , aerial tram way and Mtatsminda park. Rooms are spacious and hotel has swimming pool , Jacuzzi for guests open till 11pm. There are nice restaurants across the street. Galeria mall is next to hotel.... its has many fashion outlets and food court. There is information center just opposite to Hotel, you get maps and good advice from the staff present there.
We stayed at this property in 1 week March , Must say best thing is the location of this property at the center. All BAR, Restaurants and tour shops are super close . Tblisi is nice place to be . Renting a car is great option and private sulphur bath is a must try thing .
This hotel's staff is not take care at all. They are attending to the client the worst possible way and they are trying to sell the rooms directly with the highest possible price when there is availability for cheaper rooms or you can find available rooms in different websites on lower price. They are rough, indifferent and non responsive.
In Tbilisi for a quick trip. Having stopped previously in The Marriott, I was keen to try this property. It is centrally located on Freedom Square, my room was upgraded and I had a great view of George and the Dragon. Check in was fine, my booking was prepaid, and the FDM came chasing after me due to a payment problem. This was resolved amicably and very politely. Overall the room was clean, tidy and easy to work from; access to the WiFi was easy. Breakfast had an adequate selection and the staff we polite and attentive. My only disappointment was with the coffee which I found cooler than I would expect, again this was quickly resolved and the next day, the same member of staff was diligent to remember by preference. Not as jazzy as the The Marriott, but perfectly acceptable all the same
I booked a four day stay for my children because they were traveling with their school team and they were staying there. Since I was planning on joining them later that week, the hotel suggested to pay in advance by wire transfer. After we paid, we noticed that the hotel was inflating the prices because, according to their website, there were not rooms left. Which was not true, because when we split the booking in two or three different bookings on the same days, to our surprise, prices were considerable cheaper. It was very weird and unprofessional, but we cancelled the reservation and made three different ones on the same days for a cheaper price. A trap to tourists.... The Reservation Department promised to reimburse the difference. It has still not happened, after one week of many international calls, and emails to David Buiglishvili and to the Reservation Department of the hotel. We are not being respected as customers because this is not the kind of hospitality you would expect from a hotel. Apart from that, the rest of the family traveled to Tbilisi during the weekend. First thing we did was to visit our children in Marriott, but when we went through the sliding doors we felt like we were back in the 70s because the lobby looked old and tired. Rooms were not an exception, because my children spent the first night in an expensive and worn out corner room facing a wall. Internet and parking had an extra fee. We asked for the reimburse of our money in the front desk, as well, but the answers were that they could not do anything at all. When booking, for the rest of the family weekend stay, we found out that Radisson had competitive prices on that weekend, and even though I am a Marriott Rewards Member, we chose Radisson because Radisson was completely renovated, has an excellent location, free internet and parking at no extra cost and the reviews on TA were very good. We loved it! I am sending a formal complain letter to Marriott headquarters because I want my money, and writing this review not only on TA but in all travel websites to advise travelers to avoid this hotel. Courtyard Marriott: I want my money back and my rewards points to be credited as well.....
The location is excellent. The front desk staff is excellent. Good gym, Wi-Fi, pool and sauna. Staff speaks great English. Rooms are okay. I don't think you can go wrong choosing this hotel. Very foreign part of the world and I am thankful to have the familiarity of Marriott so far away from my home.
The hotel is undoubtedly a grand one right in the heart of the city and has access to all important places in the city. The rooms are Royal and keeps your pride high soaked in luxuries that any 5 star hotel can provide. The only negative factor about the hotel is that they don't have any room service. The morning breakfast is quite satisfying and takes care of your appetite. The staff are very polite and speak English. The beds in the rooms are quite large matching the size of the rooms that were built several years back. This hotel, made for the Americans can do well if they reduce their tariff to be in competition with other similar hotels in the city. The room rentals are very high and has no relevance to the general cost of index prevailing in the state! Nevertheless, the luxury of the rooms and the amenities provided balances the doubts about the tariff charged by the Hotel. All the tourist attractions of Tbilisi city are within 2-3 kms of this hotel and walkable if used to cobbled roads! The weather is absolutely delightful to support you while walking besides prompting one to go in for a shot of Cha cha( a local drink that has 55% alchohol content).
I loved everything about this hotel apart from the smoking policy. Coming from a country where smoking is not allowed in hotels or near where people are eating, I realised how much I've become used to that. The location of the hotel is awesome, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel facilities offered everything I needed. Breakfast was excellent and the conference rooms and catering were very good. Just a short walk puts you amongst a variety of restaurants and bars, shopping and sightseeing. Highly recommended! 🌼
