It was an amazing stay. As I've always expected from Marriott hotels, Tbilisi Marriott was a great hotel with caring, nice staff. Hotel is very well located in the center of city and close to everywhere by walking distance. Hotel's building itself contains a lot historical stories as well as charm an charisma. I will stay there again if I visit Tbilisi in future.
This is the oldest five star hotel in Georgia (over a century) and the lobby lounge shows its grandeur. I had the fortune to stay here the second time in as many months. It is expensive which I guess in no small part is due to the up-keeping of the building. The room is on the small side but comfortably appointed and decorated in a classic way. House-keeping was not consistent however, eg. face towels were not always replenished. Breakfast was simple and the room overlooked the verdant Aprile Park. I had lunch at Parnas Cafe and it was excellent - the pan fried trout recommended by the staff was spot on. Turn right when you exit the hotel and walk about 700m to the nearby Smart supermarket for all your supplies. Grab a Geocell or Magti SIM card before you leave the airport - its fast, simple and Geocell worked with no problems at all.
Stayed at the Marriott on my way to Mestia - Ushguli track and also on my way back to Tbilisi Great location. Great service. Helpful staff. Very nice lobby and rooms. Complimentary mineral water & coffee /tea I have enjoyed the place very much . I have rented a car and got / returned it at the hotel . Very enjoyable experience
This was my second stay at the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel. The first was some five and a half years ago. The hotel has improved in all aspects of this stay, that is not saying that my last stay was bad but you can improve upon a hotel’s excellence and performance. The check in process was prompt and professional and our special up graded room was ready at check in. Our room this time was a very nice corner room on the second floor. Very nice room with all the amenities ones expects from a 5 star Marriott property. The bathroom was very large and our nights sleep was very pleasant! The Marriott Tbilisi is a “classic older hotel” which is very, very special in my humble opinion! It has been well maintained and has all of today’s new electrical advantages. Being a Marriott Rewards member we used the Executive Lounge each morning and evening. I far enjoy the breakfast in the lounge over the hotel’s restaurant as it is more personal and less crowded. If you have any questions one must consult the hotel’s Concierge! Michael was extremely helpful up until our departure. It was a pleasant experience for us to use his knowledge and professionism throughout our stay! The check out process was extremely fast and proficient. While in Tbilisi you have two Marriott Hotel selections, I strongly recommend, to all, that your stay at the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel, you will not be disappointed.
As soon as we got to the hotel we were greeted by very friendly staff. After check-in, we were taken to our room. It was very spacious. The best was awesome as Marriott beds usually are. We got room service a couple nights and it was also delicious. One night, they brought me a cake for my birthday without anyone asking them too. That was very cool. The location is great too. Overall, it was just a great hotel and we had a great experience.
Without any planing because of the a good offer we went to this hotel for 3 nights and it was very unique experiment . Staffs are very polite and kind ,, They were also very helpful in every section. Lobby and entrance was very nice furnished, they have also very good breakfast with special Georgian foods (fresh juice is by order ) Try to stay at rooms with park view they are enough calm and also with very good view . Room was very clean and bed is enough big for deep sleep although i think its better to change mattress . They also have very good bar in lobby with several Georgian number one drinks . Location of the hotel is the best in town my advise to you is if you want to stay at Tbilisi and like classic architecture try this hotel They don't have casino nor disco tec but they offer you very unique and friendly calm hotel. You can ask everything you wants from concierge ( directions , places must see, taxi Mr Misha who work on that section he is very kind useful advise .
Arriving in Tbilisi at 4 AM after a 20 plus hour trip I could not have been better surprised when I arrived at the Marriott Tbilisi. The staff that was wide awake and extremely professional quickly checked me in. They were most helpful in that my baggage did not make it with me. I was provided amenities such as toothbrush, razor, comb, etc. The staff kept tabs on my luggage situation and kept me informed as to what they found out. The room was completely update, large and comfortable. Location is exceptional, close to old town. But the pleasant professional staff was the highlight of my stay.
It's a 102 year old property in tip top shape. The room comes with 2 queen sized beds so it's great when you have a child. The breakfast spread is awesome. We got an upgrade to a room with a sit out. Real cool. It's a good deal to pay more for the lounge access. Great staff there willing to share their stories and tips of things to do. Extremely comfortable stay
This hotel with it's adorable service and quality is one of the best ones in terms of every single thing. The breakfast is fantastic! The housekeeping is perfect. The receptionist are the kindest and nicest ones we've ever seen, specially Nino and Marina who helped us and did alot for us. Our great room with it's awesome forest view was located on the fifth floor with the room numbers 534 and 540. This is the best floor as it's a non-smoking floor with nice smell in every spot you walk in. I would thank everyone in Marriott tbilisi who helped and showed us the real hospitality.
The hotel is right in the heart of Tbilisi and very close to the "Dry Bridge" antique market and just 5-6 minutes away from the old town. I had a great room with a huge bathroom. The breakfast was excellent both in terms of quality and variety. The hotel has a nice patio, where you can have an evening drink etc. Helpful staff made it a stay to remember
