The room is very old and run down, and it appears there has been little to no upkeep of the property, with a stronger focus on guest turnover. Although laundry facilities are advertised, they come at a charge of $25 per load, so we chose to use a laundromat in town instead. There is a kitchenette, however it is not adequately equipped to cook a full meal. Only one pot and one pan are provided, and they cannot be used on the hotplates at the same time. No toiletries are supplied, so be sure to bring your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The two-bedroom family unit feels like it needs a thorough clean and would benefit greatly from some updating. On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Looked liked the pool was not being in use for quite some time. The pool was dirty and definitely looked like wasn’t getting regular maintenance. The king bed was joined together by two single beds making it uneven in the middle caused my husband’s back problems. Neighbors were noisey when closing the doors. Otherwise everything else’s was okay.

Motel is alright. Not far from downtown and an easy walk to the lakefront. They advertise a pool and hot tub but they’re very poorly maintained and VERY dirty. We couldn’t use either. Room itself was fine. AC worked. Beds had some sort of electrical device in them with a cord leading out. I think it was a heated mattress pad but anyway it was really uncomfortable to have it digging into your back. Our windows only had blackout curtains. So you either had all the light coming in and no privacy or you were turning your lights on during the day Not sure I’d stay here again.

The hotel staff, as well as the cleaning staff, are very friendly. However, the hotel is somewhat outdated, the studio’s equipment is very basic, and the 6 m² terrace faces the neighbor’s boundary wall. Upon our arrival in the early afternoon, we were confronted with constant noise: shouting, loud laughter, conversations, and music coming from a group of guests in the rooms above ours. Their behavior was also disrespectful, as they were throwing empty beer cans onto our terrace and the neighboring one. I went several times to report the issue to the reception and asked for a room change, but no alternative was offered. The manager spoke to the guests, but nothing changed. We had to keep our window closed at all times, yet the noise remained perfectly audible. The situation continued the entire day, from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. I must say that I have never experienced anything like this in a hotel, and I am extremely disappointed. As we had an additional night booked, I returned to the reception the next morning to explain that I had paid for two nights and deserved to sleep without earplugs. Fortunately, on the second day, after further action from the manager, we were no longer disturbed by noise. The hotel staff should have immediately moved us to another studio, even if it meant placing us in a more expensive room at their own expense, as this would have been the minimum expected in such a situation.

Tidy rooms with limited cooking facilities but no range hood over cooker. Kitchen utensils need upgrade and new scourer for each stay. Waited ages when first arrived and no one came to reception so had to leave and come back later.
