Website states ‘superior smoke free accommodation’ and this was my primary reason for choosing this motel for a six night stay. Beside our door was a pot with several cigarette butts in it. For 4 of the 6 nights of our stay occupants of the neighbouring unit smoked and vaped right outside our door. We had to shut our windows to try and keep as much of the smoke out as possible, hence no fresh air. A notice on the wall instructed occupants to smoke outside only. This is clearly NOT a smoke free environment. Very disappointing. Otherwise, the motel was clean and close to the lake and to town as described on the website.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Room while a little small had everything we needed for a nights stay. Car parking was fine. Only issue while small was the noise of other guests talking loudly outside our room. Other than that we would happily stay there again.

It's a nice, cosy place to stay for 2 nights. Convenient walk to the main shops/cafes. The room is a little worn out, and can do with a refresh, but the staff's excellent service and friendliness more than made up for it.
