Hotel is brand new and when looking on google maps, one cannot even see it because it was an empty lot recently enough. But hotel is open, really new and nice, well ran and very happy staff. For all of you that have Tesla autos or any other kind of electric, they have 5 FREE car chargers located right at the front entry of the hotel next to the handicapped parking. Marriott is up with the current times by having this. I dont have an electric car but it sure is impressive.
The rooms are spacious and clean; and the staff are friendly--especially Isaiah Dennis, who is an outstanding young manager who addresses customer needs promptly and diligently. The main concern is that the hotel has put interior design over comfort. My wife and I stayed for 6 nights. While the beds were comfortable, all of the chairs and sofas in the room are low backed--meaning anyone who needs upper back or cervical support (as I do) will not be comfortable in the rooms here. Isaiah made every effort to find me a high back chair or recliner to accommodate my medical need; however no high back chairs were available in the hotel. He did send up a long bolster pillow which helped a bit; but the stay was not very comfortable without back and neck support. Isaiah did give a point credit to the account (worth about 40 or 50 dollars--a nice gesture for an assistant manager). While the general manager Alicia, offered a very nice response to my email (expressing appreciation for the positive feedback about Isaiah, and the suggestions made) I was quite surprised that no further credit was offered: A point credit worth about 50 dollars on a stay costing more than a thousand dollars is not much compensation for the discomfort of no upper back support and inability to make a reasonable accommodation for a medical need. While lower tier hotel rooms are not as nice--nearly all have a recliner or high back chair. Other concerns: The rooms were quite clean, but the housekeeping was inconsistent---missing bath mats some days and missing shampoo and conditioner replacement other nights. I had to go to the desk twice to get shampoo and conditioner. Also the room is inconsistent in the quality of items offering high end Paul Mitchell shampoos and soaps; but having thin, rough toilet paper that is cheap enough for the plies to split apart. In sum, a clean spacious hotel with great, friendly staff, close to the airport; but with uncomfortable seating in the rooms, making them, in my view, unsuitable for anyone needing upper back or neck support.
Stayed here a week for work. Best beds ever - slept great. Friendly staff and very clean. Nice outdoor pool area. Starbucks coffee available and there is a cafe as well for the convenience of food. Enjoy.
Stayed in Tampa for a business trip and enjoyed this hotel immensely. The bathroom was large, room was clean and had all the usual necessities. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing. This Courtyard is newer and updated very nicely. The lobby is welcoming and relaxing to work in or grab dinner after. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating in allowing a very late check out due to an evening flight. The location is convenient to the highway and a near by shopping area. Would stay there again on business for sure.
Nice property about 15-20 drive from airport. We stayed here night before son started univ of Tampa so we could access all the shopping which is right there. Newer property. Breakfast is available but not included.
This new, awesome hotel is the only place I will stay in Tampa. Rooms are clean, comfortable and staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Not only that but it's right next door to Big Cat Rescue... which is a must visit!
We have just spent 6 days at the hotel and we enjoyed every minute. The facilities were great and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Great location for us. Can't wait to go back. Pool was clean and welcoming, the rooms were spacious and modern. Great to have a Starbucks inside the hotel.
Hotel is close to a mall and hight way so it is of easy access and good location. All ends there. Staff does not respect the "do not disturb sign" Big hotel and only one washer and dryer and if you are in a family vacation where laundry is a must, they only have one washer and one dryer! Forget about free breakfast.. and what theo offer is very very expensive and low quality!! Better go out and a block away there is a Mc Donald. Rooms are clean but remember it is a new hotel.. I believe this hotel has potential but it is far from it now. I will advise to look for a other place.. it is very expensive for what you are getting!!
This hotel is a hidden gem. It's quiet, clean and off the beaten path. The whole place looks like it's been renovated, and everyone that works there always greets you with a smile. They have an outdoor pool, which is kept very clean as well as an indoor gym with plenty of equipment and weights, that is also kept very clean. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are spotless. The only complaints I have are that they don't provide complimentary waters for gold/platinum members, and the iron in the room was faulty and ruined 2 of my shirts. However, the management accepted fault and made up for it. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here - it is close to the highway.
We spent 7 nights at this new Courtyard while on vacation in Tampa. The hotel itself is nice and modern, the location itself is nice on a secluded deadend street surrounded by greenery. Depending on your reason to visit the area, this may or may not be a good choice. It is a bit far from beaches and it’s a still a 20mjn to downtown Tampa opposite direction. If you don’t mind a little driving, it is a good choice for the price.
