Not For Me !

The edgy vib theme blends intentional fake old broken w\ real broken facility. Overall, lots of things broken. Windows in the lounge had broken screens. Missing light fixture has exposed LIVE electrical wire! Shower room floor pitched wrong so water from the shower stalls flows out thru the gap at the bottom of the door into the walking area outside the stalls. The toilet stalls ... One of them I can't close the door if I'm inside. I'm in the way. Am i suppose to climb up on the toilet in order to close the door? There are 2 urinals on either side of the entry door. If you are standing at one & another person comes in. You'll get bump. Rooms are sufficient in terms of AC. Lounge had no AC. If you have to eat or sit there to do some work on your PC, you'll be sweating. If you are from a dry climate, you better like the heat and humidity. The lounge on the men's floor are assessable by the men guest only. I assume the women counterpart lounge is women only. So, if you are with a mixed sex group, you cannot hang out in the lounge together. If you are into socializing with fellow travelers, this is not the place. I walked down the physical stair, in case I have to evacuate a fire. The steps are uneven in their rise. They're different heights. Some steps are not level, tilted to one side. All are trip hazard w\ broken cracks, chunks of concrete missing. Location is next to the Main Station entrance, busy. The area's buildings are old and run down including this one.

All you need in Taipei

Well located hostel right next to Taipei main station and not far from Ximen shopping district. Good price and facilities, including a kitchen area with a microwave and hotplate. Easy to check-in and out.

I think this place is great for a short stay! It had all the basic amenities and the pod bed was comfortable for me. I found all the common areas to be clean.

Air condition issue

I stayed in the single room with a shared bathroom. The room was small but cozy. The place is clean, the staff are excellent and assist you with anything you need. The location is excellent--right across from Taipei Main Station (bus, train, and subway all together).

Good for the location

Great location right outside the subway/train station (with escalator access), and right across the street from the bus stop to Taoyuan Airport. Felt more conveniently located than the hostels on the other side of Mitsukoshi, which is a short walk from the subway. Bed was fine, but room had no space for luggage/lockers and was not well ventilated. Laundry costs 130NT, detergent is 20NT. It's true that the shower stalls are a bit translucent. You can store your luggage up to 12am after checkout, but there's no luggage tagging/security, just a shared space.

great location, but too loud to sleep

overall, it was a good stay. rooms are extremely tiny (single room), but if you're just sleeping. it's fine. if you're a light sleeper -- this place is not for you. I was happy with everything, but I could also hear everything. I was in the single room near the bathroom and at all hours of the night, I could hear people using the blow dryer and lets just say I didn't get any sleep during my time there.

Noise...

My stay was a bit unpleasant because by the time I checked in the hostel around 2am, I found my room wasn't made ready and I had to wait for the staff making my room instead of arranging another one for me! And rooms nearby the bathroom are expected noise in the morning. During my stay some guests didn't keep their voice down in the corridor...except the noise issue, Work Inn does have an excellent location and decoration and quite clean overall.

Perfect location for a one night stay alone. Exit at M8 underground of Taipei station. 9/F on the first building on your left. Great value,cozy and hygienic. Only thing is no hot water supply for the quick shower.

Great place of good location and facilaties

It was so nice! The room was.small but the facilities were great. Each bed has the curtain,tv,headset,power(usb port included)and small hanger. It has washing machines,large shower room and the crew was so nice and kind. The whole floor was for women so very comfortable. I will recommand this hotel to everyone who goes taibei.

The location of the room is excellent. It is very convenient to locate the hotel. The hotel looks very new. The single room is very comfortable just that it's a little pricey. The only negative feedback was the toilet have no window hence there wasn't any proper ventilation, resulting in a strong stench.

Stayed for 3 nights during early September. The hostel is very near taipei main station (exit from m8 and turn left to the first building right in front). Stayed in the twin room..enough space provided not too many luggage and staff are very approachable

Working at the Inn near Taipei Main Station

Very good location for transport links in central Taipei city. Good for a night or two, but wouldn't suggest it for a longer stay. The staff were all very nice and helpful and made staying there easier. I had a small single box room, with no window, but this was what I expected. Yes, it is very cheap, and it is ok to expect a small room at this rate. It was mostly fine, but not the cleanest shared shower area. Also, there is a nice shared seating area near the desk. You can do laundry here too for a small fee. Would stay again in arriving late/leaving early in Taipei.
