Our stay at this home created so many wonderful memories with our kids. The house had everything we needed for a fun and comfortable vacation. We spent most of our time in the backyard playing cornhole and relaxing around the new fire pit—it was definitely our favorite part of the property.The host was incredibly kind and took the time to have a long conversation with us about things to see and do in the area. We weren't able to fit all of his recommendations into this trip, so we'll definitely save them for next time. He also graciously allowed us to arrive early to drop off our luggage, which we really appreciated.The only thing I would mention for future guests is that this home feels very much lived in, unlike most vacation rentals we've stayed in. It almost felt as though the owner had just left that morning. We did some extra cleaning when we arrived, including cleaning out the silverware drawer. There was also trash left in the kitchen garbage can, so we weren't completely sure the home had been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival, and we chose to wash our bedding ourselves. The mattresses could use updating, and the closets/drawers would benefit from being cleaned out or organized to provide more guest space. There is also a missing door for one bedrooms but a bifold screen was provided. None of these things took away from the wonderful time we had. The home has a warm, welcoming feel, the backyard is fantastic, and the host was exceptional. We would rent again.
