This was my first time staying at Vibe, and I chose it because I really like the location near World Square and Hyde Park (with easy access to public transport and a Coles supermarket). I really enjoyed all the food and drinks we had from The Storehouse Restaurant & Bar (we had bar snacks, dinner and room service). The customer service we got from Harvey was exceptional - he is so friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was bigger than I was expecting (previous guest photos don’t do it justice - it’s a great space & the pool is lovely early morning and evening on hot summer days). The gym is a lot bigger than many hotel gyms. There were always plenty of pool/gym towels available which is not always the case at hotels. I was pleased with my room size and amenities, and the reception staff were always helpful. I found the room servicing a bit patchy, but I find that in almost every hotel these days (they don’t seem to ‘clean’ the bathroom or vacuum any more - rather they just drop off fresh towels and make the bed). The weirdest thing that happened was I asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, which arrived promptly, then the next morning the cleaner took it away again! And two of the nine days I didn’t get a handtowel or bathmat. So the room servicing is an area for improvement. But I would still stay here again - as overall experience was positive.
