Check-in was smooth but the guy at the reception by the name Alex should take a hospitality course before working on a hotel. He looks like he hated what was doing. First impression of the hotel unwelcoming. Breakfast was okay but nothing like other hotels I’ve been to in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and overseas, probably the most simple breakfast. Check out was great the person was lovely.

Not happy with what was advertised paid for a view and got buildings to look and paid the same as the view price. They also kept my deposit of 549 and still waiting for its return. While clean and fancy ish, needs a bit of a charisma injection. A good city location, my park view room was as minimally park view as possible and questions such as “do you supply papers in the morning?”were met with wonder and then a no. Room service one night was surprisingly good but next very mediocre. Style wise nothing seems to have been revitalised since last time we stayed, well over a decade ago. Basically it’s a safe but unexciting choice in a good downtown location.

Just the best!

Staying here almost a week enjoying the hospitality of Sheraton. A luxurious hotel offering fine rooms and a fantastic breakfast. We were lucky to have a park view room and enjoyed a taste of the dining the hotel had to offer as part of the tour group we traveled with. Have to mention the staff who go above and beyond to ensure your stay meets your expectations.
