Quest Manly

Great location near Manly Wharf, taxi & buses. Many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Rooms are on 1st and 2nd floors only and are spacious but some are in need of refurbishment. Friendly management. Noise from adjacent streets and intersection can disrupt sleep. Double glazing would help.

Recently stayed here. Had the 1 bedroom apt which was comfortable enough for the 5 of us. Room was clean and tidy and had all the practicalities of home. Staff were friendly and helpful with any queries. You simply couldn't beat this location. Excellent cafes, restaurants, shops and a beautiful beach at your doorstep. We used to Sydney ferry service to get around town which was a great and cheap way to explore Sydney. Kids loved it. Nice balcony to sit and relax and watch the ferries come and go. Manly is a much better option than the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommend thie Quest place for any type of traveller.

Should give discount for longer stays Good place Quite expensive No pool for short term guests Faces south Traffic noise a problem. Close to Ferry and close to where our son lives. Good units. Good big beds (Super King)

Have stayed before and will again - so close to beach, parking easy and nearby restaurants and takeaway - balcony overlooking beach was very popular if a little windy a couple of nights! A clothes rack would have been helpful for drying towels and swimmers (we went to the beach multiple times a day!) Could be noisy for light sleepers with downstairs cafe but we slept well without disruption (on first floor)

Found the staff really friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent, rooms tidy and comfortable with great view over the Corso. We had an enjoyable stay. A little bit pricey to what we are used to but would love to stay again.

We stayed in studio apartment o erlooking the Corso.. Great facilities, clean and close to everthing Manly has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate returning. next time will try and get an apartment overlooking the water

After an extended stay at Quest Manly I agree with some of the other 3 star reviews - the rooms do need a some TLC and the busy road outside is a consideration. I wouldn't be so firm on this if the price was mid point - but it's top end, with prices $350+ for a one bedroom apartment. The interiors are a little dated, especially the bathrooms and kitchen areas. The water view rooms do overlook the bay but they also overlook a busy road / corner that has traffic lights and heavy bus traffic (the bus stop is over the road). Overall a pleasant enough stay but with prices that sit in the 'luxury' end Quest Manly doesn't feel like a luxury hotel.

The staff are very helpful, with the rooms spacious and clean. Everything is within walking distance - loved watching the ferries come and go. there is always something to see happening on the water. Lots of excellent food options close.

Me and my husband have stayed a few times which have been all good but this time we took two friends visiting from the U.K., and so we took the last available apartment for four people. We knew this would mean using the sofa bed, but unfortunately was not comfortable with sticking out springs. Therefore we were disappointed with the sleeping facility.

I had to travel to Sydney last minute and all of city accommodation was booked out - apart from presendential suites! So someone suggested staying at Manly as an alternative. Great suggestion! The hotel is super conveniently situated over the road where the ferry comes in. Was greeted by friendly person at reception and given quick run down on rooms and what was to do in area which wasn't a lot for me given I'd be there all if 12 hours. My room was very spacious and clean and had a really nice view over the water! Bed was pretty comfy also. I could easily spend a few days here as it's such a great location. Would definitely come back if I was staying over for work again, you really can't beat that ferry trip in to start your day!
