ibis Sydney Airport

The hotel was a very nice layover hotel. The staff was pleasant and the room was functional and very clean. Check in and check out were a breeze, thanks to good front desk staff. I was woken up housekeeping asking what time I was checking out, which was annoying - I should have put up a do not disturb sign. Otherwise, the stay was pretty good. I would stay here again.

Stayed for last night before flying home. Thought it might be walkable from airport terminals. I did it but wouldn't recommend if you have luggage.

great for overnight stay while waiting for early departure. shuttle was on time and cheap

No wash cloths and only one hand towel, otherwise, hotel was fine.

I didn't like this inn and I am not sure why. The room was adequate, the amenities all worked as promised, and the staff were courteous and available. I felt overcharged, although this was simply the location (airport) and the low level of competition. Just too impersonal and boxy for my tastes.

This was my second visit to this hotel within a week. I did not like having to pay for WiFi . The breakfast buffet was fairly expensive and looked good - but most of the food items had little taste, Pity they can't purchase from local farmers. I have since stayed in its sister hotel Ibis budget a few blocks away. This was dreadful - no phones in the room - WiFi even more expensive. So don't be tempted by the cheaper price - this Ibis is better.

I had to go out to dinner with my brothers and had no time to check in so I literally ran in with my luggage, told them I'd check in later and asked if I could leave my bags and check in later, staff were very friendly and accommodating. the room is nothing out of the ordinary, a typical Ibis Hotel room but good enough and I had a good night's rest. I had to get up at 3 AM t catch my flight. The wake up call was dead on time and the cab that I had requested was waiting for me outside the door, there's another hotel where you can just cross the road and be at the international terminal but it's at least $60- per night more expensive, so with Ibis you do save money,

I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, and the newness. The room was fresh. The restaurant was modern. Breakfast was good. The only drawback was the internet was not free, and I couldn't get WiFi in my room. Fortunately I had an Ethernet cable and could share the connection via my MBP.

We arrived early after an all-night flight and were given a room early by the helpful staff. Our room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel was close to the airport. We ordered food from room service, and it was very good. I would use the hotel shutlle if possible, as our two experiences with taxis were terrible--$21 to the domestic termina (we refused to give him any more than $18), and $17 from the international termianl. Both were much more than others had said the fares were on the reviews. The internet was terribly expensive here, so we didn't use it, but it was convenient to the train station to go to the harbour and ferries. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Rooms clean...beds amazingly comfortable great quality sheets...small but perfect for a quick stop over. Staff super helpful, food was ok for a limited menu but great for a short stay! Train station a short walk away only two stops to city... Very happy

Overall, clean and friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Location is more about convenience being next to the airport. Worked well for what I needed which was a short overnight for a flight out in the a.m. $6.00 shuttle to the airport.

The hotel was clean and very quiet. The room was fairly small but we thought it was a bit high for the accommodations. Overall, we had a peaceful evening since we were waiting to catch a flight the following day.

We stayed here for one night for our early flight the next morning. The hotel served its purpose just fine. They set up a wake-up call for us and our shuttle pick up ($6 per person) for the airport. Nothing special... about a 10 minute walk to the train station to access the city.

Stayed at this hotel one night in between flights. The rooms on the smallish side but clean, comfortable, and close to the airport. The main problem I had was that the walls were so thin, you could hear every person passing by your room. This makes it very difficult to sleep.

We chose this hotel for a quick 1 night stay before our return trip home. It was 5 min from the airport. The shuttle from the hotel is $6 pp. The taxi charged us $10 (over the metered fare of $6) and was not happy to have made such a short trip. The hotel was very busy and noisy with business travelers. The room was small but clean. It reminded us of cruise ship accommodations, long hallway, with rows of doors and smallish room. The room was very quiet however, even being near the lobby, must have good soundproofing.

Small room, and smaller bathroom, but okay for a one-night stay.

It was a nice hotel close to the Airport & train station to get to Downtown Sydney. I recommend using the train as much as possible, a lot cheaper than a cab and safe.

Our stay was only overnight but the room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel has many ammenities over all great experience

Location is ok, but rooms are small, bed is small for a couple and rooms were stuffy. Internet and breakfast should be included. For $20 I could have gone to a much better (Stamford) hotel.
