I spent only one night at this hotel. Booked by phone a day before and they told me that they could not guarantee my booking if i did not check in until 6pm. On the day, I was so busy and had called them few times to secure my booking. Then i managed to finish my work and arrrived at hotel at 5.30pm and checked in. Exhausted after worked myself the whole day and badly need a rest, I went to the reception, checked in and asking for my room. The reception, she gave me the room card and told me my room is a superior smoking room. I was furious. I asked for a non smoking room. She must thought it was her unlucky day, met a horrible guest such as me. 😅 But then she got me a new room, upgraded to deluxe non-smoking. 😊 The room was good, spacious, clean. The food was as usual not that too amusing but the restaurant is a thematic "garden" concept restaurant. Pretty nice. Well, thanks for the great service.
If you’re planning to go to Surabaya for few days, you should stay there in Hotel Garden place which is best one, because shopping malls are very nearby and price is very responsible. Food and facilities are very decent.
The hotel card do not work almost everyday so that I could not enter the room in the evening after my full day activity. The management and employee seem do not have any intention to take any corrective actions. Not recomended hotel!
had lunch at lobby restaurant. Food was okay, cawanmushi was great. variety was great too. so many things to choose from. service was okay too. keep up the good work Garden Palace. however, please pay attention to room temperature at your meeting room. super hot.
i stayed there for about 7 days in total. Good location near key monuments and shopping malls. The room was good if the bathroom a little tired. Breakfast buffet was adequate if unspectacular. Staff were very attentive. Price at roughly AUS $50-60 was really good
I have meeting at Caesar Palace, 24th floor The food during lunch was amazing, lots of stall and life cooking. The food quality was awesome as well coffee break. The parking access was easy. Friendly staff
Stayed for 2 nights here at this location. The rooms are definitely in need of an upgrade. CRT TVs, a bed with stained bedsheets, a musky smell lingering in the room, and lumpy pillows. The saving grace for this place is the staff, who are friendly and helpful.
I was staying on Deluxe Theme Room with Japanese Theme. It was very nice! Well it doesn't has tatami or something like that, but it had quite Japanese touch in some aspects like the bed that place on the ground, the wooden coffe table, the chair. Most of all, it had this woods on lamp, chair, bed that gave a feeling of staying on Japanese modern hotel. The service was good and the hotel was so elegant. I surely would like to visit this hotel again someday and try another theme !
Hotels that have been long enough in surabaya. . The rooms are spacious and clean. . The gym is fully equipped and well maintained. . Recommended for those who like sports at the hotel..the food is good and many varied..the service is good and responsive
I was stayed at this place for business purpose for three nights. One of major highlight is, this is the well situated hotel in the city. Located few minutes from large shopping center (Tunjungan Plaza) and is at the center of the city. This is one of old hotel in Surabaya. I was staying at Royale Club room, which is looked like failed renovated room. Many things look uncomfortable to my eyes because the renovation doesn't finish as how it should be. The room also a bit smelly, I guest this comes from the bathroom. Breakfast option is quiet various, but at certain time the breakfast restaurant feels to crowded as many of the visitors comes here for business purpose. Afternoon tea we've got from club benefit is quite good, we didn't expect that we could get room with club benefit that isn't pricey. Overall, still a good hotel in Surabaya for its value.
