We stayed two nights and were well looked after. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. We ate at the Nouveau restaurant and although a little pricy I felt we got good value for money as we are both seafood lovers. The room was big enough for our needs as we don't tend to spend much tome in the rooms we stay in. I would agree with some of the other reviews here that it needs a bit of a paint up but that doesn't really effect the stay in general. We also ate in the bar and the food was great. We had things to do out of the resort so did not spend time by the pool etc. We also attended a membership meeting and felt a little pressure BUT nothing compared to others we had attended. Overall a lovely stay and we will return soon.
Loved our room over the lake, sitting out having a wine and nibble while watching the happenings on the lake was very relaxing. The restaurant is still not fantastic but the bar restaurant has nice food. Would book the lake rooms again, big, comfortable and clean.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. In fact, all the staff were very professional and a credit to the hotel. We had a Garden View room. Corridors around the place need a bit of love, but the room was clean and a decent size. Our view wasn't really of the garden as the balcony overlooked the area in between two of the buildings and what I assume was the 'garden' was the area outside the front door. For some reason, someone decided that the bathroom door should be slatted and that the light switch should also turn on the light in the wardrobe area. Not much use at 3am when you have the choice of flooding the bed with light or going to the bathroom in the dark!! The bar area and the restaurant were very nice. Plenty on offer at the buffet, even on a seafood night for someone who doesn't eat fish! Probably best you book a table though for dinner, as it gets very busy. There is plenty to do at the resort. We took a kayak out on the lagoon (also had the choice of a catamaran too) and paddled around for about 30 minutes. Others were SUP or on the inflatable fun park (separate entity to the resort). We also hired two bikes - $20 for an hour and went right out the resort and around the canals, The beach was a short walk away. All-in-all, I would stay here again but it just needs a little work on the stairways, corridors and things like that round the resort. We had a great time.
We spend time at the hotel with family, the room very basic, but enough for a weekend, nice location very friendly and attentive staff, pool and lake are good location for kids to enjoy. Breakfast buffet is good, need ,ore options for dinner
I visited Novotel Twin Waters Resort for a business function. The resort is set on a lake, which offers lovely views particularly from the cafe and Lily's Restaurant. The 'Garden View' room I stayed in was quite dated, but was still nice and quite spacious. I also had my own balcony and a bath. The resort is only a five minute walk from the beach, and there are many activities for kids to do like trampolines, pool, kayaks and a fantastic inflatable obstacle course, which was massive! The only negative is that the room I stayed in was in the second floor and there were no lifts, meaning I had to carry my bag up the stairs. There is also quite a lot of walking involved to get from one area to another, however porters on golf buggies are available. The buffet breakfast was also nice and had a large selection to choose from. Highly recommended if you have kids!
What a fun resort! Loads to do for all ages! We have a 4 year old and we just loved seeing her have so much fun. The resort has lots of water sports, trampolines, mini golf, pool , hot spa, fish feeding and huge blowup fun track on the water. My little girl loved the buffet ( Dinner & breakfast ) Dinning free if your under 5 awesome!!!!. Watch out for the 1 hour little girl pamper package at the day spa! OMG what have i introduced her to! ha ha ! Daddy can do these things!!! Overall we did love it and can not wait to come back! Negative? Not much, just general maintenance needs addressing. Tables in the bar need replacing, liquor drips on the purple wall behind the bar. A good walk through with a trained eye would help. For a great 3 day relaxing weekend , Novotel you get my thumbs up!
This is the second time we have stayed at Twin Waters and the Food just keeps getting better. The rooms aren't over plush and the water pressure is rather sad but the surroundings are beautiful and relaxing. Their continental breakfast buffet has to be seen to be believed and on Fri, Sat and Sunday nights is their seafood buffet. Take your time and settle in slow then waddle back to your room. Great weekend getaway.
Enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was lovely. We stayed in winter so got a very good deal. Enjoyed buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay again. The pool area was very nice and enjoyed walking along the waterfront.
My partner and I stayed in June for the night. The resort was amazing. So much to do. The grounds were well kept, we enjoyed walking around the resort. I especially loved the native wildlife around the grounds. It's shame that the weather was too cold so we couldn't enjoy the water activities that were on offer. We will definitely be back in the warmer months. I would like to make a special mention to the friendly staff at the resort. They made the resort feel very welcoming.
A little out of the way but the surroundings and facilities are great with a pool and water sports. The room we had was a little dated but nice and quiet. There are good places to eat on site and plenty of parking.
