Stayed here for two nights. Let me start which things That did not go well. I booked a non-smoking room and when we arrived they only had smoking rooms. I will say the room did not smell but it was on a smoking floor and I have allergies. The room was okay but I would not characterize the regular rooms as spacious. The shower was poorly architected as there is no way to shower and dry off without getting the bathroom floor wet. I went down to the desk and asked for an iron four times and each time they assured me five minutes. It never came that night and I had to get it the next morning. Pillows were not enough of and flat. Okay, on positive side. Room was very clean. People at front desk very friendly. I think on balance I would consider staying here again.
I stayed in this hotel for two nights on a business trip. Spacious rooms in a quiet green area, nice and friendly staff. Though i didn't get time for other activities, I would recommend this hotel and will stay here for my next trip. Next time room with a view of the woods. Recommended
We stayed in this hotel for one night, working our way from the Black Forest to Munich. The hotel is at the outskirts of Stuttgart and our room had a lovely view of the forest nearby. The room was verby big and clean, with a hugh bathroom (we were upgraded, not sure why). There is also an exterior parking for 9€. The only downside is that our room was quite hot with no AC but we good leave our windows open as it had nets against mosquitos or any other insect that could have got in our room.
Stayed here on way home from Lake Garda. I'm currently in a wheelchair and when we booked in the extremely helpful receptionist upgraded our room to a suite to enable me to have more room to get around. Room was beautiful and very clean. One small problem was lack of air con as it was very hot but apart from that it was perfect.
Here for two nights; clean well managed hotel. Very friendly; lovely food - dinner was good on both nights. Good location on edge of city; access to train and s bahn via taxi, but easy and saves drive/park
We almost always try to stay at the Relaxa Waldhotel Schatten because it keeps us out of the busy city center where it is easy to get caught in traffic. The staff at the Relaxa Waldhotel Schatten couldn't be nicer! We were welcomed warmly with our three dogs and our accommodations were easily adjusted when we finished business early and adjusted the dates of our stay. We almost always choose an upgraded room and we love staying in room 124 because of the pretty nature views from the seating room and the bedroom. The only downside was that there was some trash outside our bedroom window in an otherwise pretty view of the trees. The common areas are inviting and room size is good. I would add that it would be nice to have breakfast and parking included, but the hotel offers both for a fee and both are an added convenience when staying away from home.
This hotel is aim more for business workshop and retreat. But we had a good stay here even it a bit far from town. The room is big and clean. The breakfast is great. It was a good tart of our 9 day car tour around Germany.
This is a really nice hotel, in a really nice place. Looks like you're in the mountains. If this hotel was renovated, they could charge double the actual prices... It has a lot of potential. Anyway, the place is ok for a one or two nights, the breakfast is ok and the room is clean and tidy. Just like the other 99% of hotels in Germany, the parking is paid.
We stayed here as an overnight stop off when driving from London to Italy. En route i searched for hotels specifically that were pet friendly had free parking and room service. This hotel came up so i booked an economy double room. We arrived to find the parking was not free - now €9, there was no room service that evening due to the staff christmas party and the restaurant was closed, we had been given a twin room (which they did then change to a double after asking) and also with no mention of payment for our 2 dogs when we arrived were told by a very stern unhappy looking receptionist the next morning that we would need to pay €10 for each of the dogs. Quite a disappointing stay all in all, especially after we had been in the car for 12 hours.
Nice, spacious room. Comfortable bed, though pillows were too soft. About a 10 minute drive to the S bahn to get into Stuttgart center. Friendly staff, who helped out when there was a discrepancy in our reservation. Con: paid parking garage/lot.
