The hotel is too expansive for a four stars hotel...but it should be ok if there were a good value for money...but unfortunately there isn't.. Room are too small, even for one person, beds TERRIBLE, if you are lucky and sleep in a bed, in the other case you have to sleep in a sofa and you can imagine that you are going not to sleep at all! how can people sleep there? Also it s impossible have a normal shower because water is quite cold even if you put at max hot.. Place is near the central station, and there are not recomendable people after 9 pm.... Breakfast is quite good...I was very disappointed about room and bed

Location!!!! Across the street from the train terminal. You can’t beat it. Easy walking to all sites. The hotel is a bit long in the tooth, and could use some refurbish, but is was clean and the room was quite spacious. And I got a great one day non refundable special on a hotel website that made the price just perfect.

It is hard to imagine a more practical or convenient alternative than this hotel. Whether you come by air, buss och train, you are going to arrive within less than a five minute walk to this hotel. Staff is friendly and service oriented. There is a pub and restaurant adjacent to the hotel and an OK breakfast buffet. The rooms and baths are small, it is not a modern or elegant alternative, but a clean and friendly place at a great value!

We were very happy with our room. We had a spacious room with a double bed and a sofa bed that was able to accommodate the four of us. . I really liked the high ceiling. Contrary to other commentators, we found the room very quiet, even though we were on floor 1 and facing the street. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. We did not experience any security incidents but the area around the hotel has always been rather iffy and one should be careful walking around in the evenings.

A lovely hotel with a full continental breakfast and two lifts, one of which is a brass mini-version with an older style door. It's proximity to Central Railway station and to the old quarter (Gamla Sean) of Stockholm, was a huge plus for us. Our room was comfortable, clean and pleasant. Tea, coffee and and a kettle was available in our room once requested. Our 4th floor room was a long, long way from the lift doors; it felt like walking in a rabbit warren. The impressive breakfast was enjoyable and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. A well placed hotel that I would definitely want to come back to.

We stayed here 3 nights for a city break and arrived at almost midnight due to a late flight. I had chosen this hotel for its proximity to the station and ease of locating late at night. We were warmly greeted and check in was quick and friendly. Our room was on the 4th floor with a side road view. We had a large bed (2 pushed together as is often the case in Scandinavia) and a window that opened nicely for fresh air (no air con) The bedding was clean and fresh and the bed very comfortable. There was ample wardrobe and drawer space for a short stay. The bathroom was very small but ample shelf space and the shower was excellent. Towels were fluffy white and ample. We slept well. The lifts are very very small but efficient. I liked the card system for the landings for security. It took me a while to get used to doors opening outwards in fact I don't think I ever opened one door the right way ! Breakfast was lovely with hot and cold choices, fruit, rye bread, fresh cold juice and coffee and tea. Breakfast room was very busy at peak times. Reception staff very helpful and there's a computer and printer on the upper lobby for printing boarding passes free of charge. The hop on hop off bus stops right by the hotel and the boat from city hall for Drottninghelm is a ten minute walk. We ate in the hotel one night and had a lovely meal but it was ages coming (45-50 minutes) Tip: although the Arlanda Express goes from the station opposite just walk through to the bus terminal and catch the bus which goes at regular intervals and costs a fraction of the price. An excellent comfortable service. I would recommend Hotel Terminus as an excellent safe, comfortable and friendly base for a Stockholm city break. It is a grandiose old building and whilst it may be refurbishing and not be sleek it has character and style. We loved it !

Very sad hotel. Can not get coffee or anything in the lobby can not get water into the rooms. Got two single beds but ordered one big bed. Not worth the money at all. Great noise from the train station! Very expensive for nothing!

The hotel has an excellent location being directly opposite the central railway station. The metro has an entrance immediately next door to the hotel. The breakfast room is vulnerable to pick pockets & thieves. Although the door of the breakfast room has a key card system this can be easily circumvented by a thief waiting for a guest to open the door & following them in . There is no staff member inside the breakfast room checking the identity of people entering the room . Two guests have recently had their bags stolen from the breakfast room. This is a management issue which urgently needs to be addressed by this hotel & other hotels in Stockholm . We feel very sorry for the Swedish people who are experiencing a crime wave. We were informed by the police that this situation did not exist 2 years ago but the pick pockets & thieves were now targeting the breakfast rooms of the hotels. Despite the above the best part of the hotel was the staff who were very courteous & helpful in giving directions to the Australian & Italian Embassies & the police

The location couldn't be better for tourists. It is just in front of the Central Station. In my opinion, the hotel has an old-style decoration which reminds us of 'belle epoche' Paris: carpets, pictures, furniture and even a quite small lift, like those we could find in some French hotels. The reception is discrete but friendly. There is a visible concern towards safety in the whole building, for we need to use cards to have access to the floor, the room and even the breakfast room. If your sleep is not deep, you may hear a slight noise coming from buses during the wee hours, but I find it was not troublesome to me. The sole thing that put me down was the breakfast. By the way, my family and I have spent the last ten days in Scandinavia before getting into this hotel, hence we have a good idea of what we have to eat under such scenario. But here, unfortunately, to be sincere, I'd need to down grade at least in two points, compared to what we've eaten elsewhere. To start, fruits as well as fruit salads were not tasteful. The bloodgrapefruit was definitely no good. I reckon I'm not a fan of the traditional grapefruit but this rendition was pushing too much the envelope, I fear say. I love salami , but the salami here had so much black pepper... Also, the hering was the least tasteful we had so far. Surprisingly enough, no smoked salmon, a favorite of mine. Even the scrambled eggs didn't keep a good standard: in the first day, it was just good, but in the second day, it lacked color, texture as well as taste. To end, bakery itens were below regular. By the way, there was no croissant at all, albeit I read here a reply from the managers stating the opposite. However, I'm quite sure on how to recognize a croissant. Actually, we have tasted wonderful ones in our stay in Scandinavia. Just to clarify, I'm not finicky about food, but I see here a strong case to improve quality. In short, a very good hotel, to be recommended, but I really wish breakfast has already improved when I come back or when you get there.

Not a 4 star, hot in the summer (no AC) but staff is nive and good breakfeast. Old interiuer, ok they try to be old style, but there is difference between old style luxury and old style spartan. Because it is family owned, i feel that the budget is not that big, for the same price i would recommend another 4-star hotel, preferrably a new hotel with some of the chains.
