I gave this hotel 3 stars because 3 stars is “average” this hotel was definitely just “average”. I don’t have a specific complaint, because there was nothing “wrong” with it. Our room was clean, it was quiet, etc. BUT we paid almost $250 for an average hotel and for that I’m a little bit salty. The mattress was not great, and the hot water was “warm” at best. Would I stay there again? Yes, if nothing else with better reviews was available …

Our ac wasn’t working properly and they switched rooms quickly, very sweet front desk staff. We’ll go back.

It was a reasonable price and okay. It seems to be an older motel in need of maintenance and deep cleaning.

Hotels need to update their amenities fro COVID. Went expecting a full hot breakfast to find a table with 2 boxes of froot loops, no milk, and no coffee. Had a coffee pot in the room, but no coffee. They didn't say anything about it during check in either. Got to figure it all out that morning when trying to get ready and out the door.

Stewed up reservation, no hot water, one room had no heat for the two nights,Breakfast first day was good, second was only cold rolls. Fortunately will not have to stay there again.

Nice hotel located in the middle of town. Easy access to everywhere.

Was there for officials camp. Staff was very accommodating. No issues at all

There was a problem with my original Ruben the homestead hotel staff immediately took care of it

Stayed two nights. Clean and comfortable rooms, & close to campus. Parking lot is rather cramped. They have a salt water pool and hot tub, and the salinity was much too high, particularly in the hot tub, causing a burning sensation on our skin. In addition, the temperature of the hot tub was excessively high (I'd estimate around 110°F). Went to the breakfast buffet in the lobby our 2nd morning, just looking for a quick cup of coffee, and was disappointed that they were completely out.

Had a good stay at the Fairfield Inn while attending orientation and enrollment for OSU. Very close to the University, quiet, room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Will try to stay there on every occasion that we visit Stillwater.

Great location, great staff. The point of an indoor pool is to be able to swim year round. The staff tried to warm it up ( thank you Clay ) but it was too late. The price could also be cheaper but this applies to everything in life. If this hotel would keep the pool warm it would be a 5 star

Everything was very nice. Slept well both nights. Attended the 2011 Coyboy Country CDE

Goood experience but the breakfast bar is subpar..

I chose this hotel for a business trip, but then my family (spouse and first-grader) came along, too. It worked out perfectly for all of us. The location was convenient; the breakfast was good; and the pool was a big hit! Add on the friendly staff, and this is a property that can't be beat. It was great.

They were laying new tiles in the entry but except for that everything was very good. No complaints

We weren in Stillwater for a National Basketball tournament. I was disappointed when I walked in the hotel and they were remodeling. They said oh it is just in the lobby. Well it wasn't, it was the whole hotel. It was noisy in the mornings. The room we were in was already remodeled so it was very nice. I was a little surprised there was no fridge or microwave in the rooms. Last week we stayed at Aloft in Dallas and our room rate was half what we paid at Fairfield, but the rooms were much, much nicer and we had a microwave and fridge. I would have felt some better about the remodeling if I had been told ahead of time.

Hotel is in great location - few blocks from OSU. Room was clean and very quiet. Would have given it 5 stars - except that hotel is under rennovation and not finished. Our room was one that was completed - and it was great. Common areas of hotel (hallways and breakfast area) are not ready yet. Think the rennovation will be done by start of school year 2011 at OSU.

Easy to find and get around twon from the location.

Thank you for your feedback of your most recent stay. On behalf of the team, I personally apologize for the unforeseen issues we experienced with the hot water as well as your in room heat and breakfast. Our goal is ensure a stress free stay and stand by our 100% guarantee in satisfaction in which I understand we fell short of those expectations. Unfortunately we were unable to fully remedy the hot water issues before you departed but I can ensure you we have resolved it fully. In addition, I appreciate you making us aware of your in room heating so we could properly replace the PTAC. We have also relocated our breakfast after the challenges we experienced to ensure future guests do not have the same issues as you had described. I would like to personally address your experience further to ensure your satisfaction and possibly retain your future business when you travel to Stillwater. When available, I ask that please contact me directly at (405) 372-6300 to discuss further. Thank you again for your review.
