They were renovating our floor and we were woken up by lawn care machinery. We also had to walk a circuitous route (not well marked) to an uninspiring breakfast room that had a very small menu. The bathroom had moldy grout, especially in the shower.
Beautiful lobby/common areas! We enjoyed our gorgeous corner room with a bay view. Pool was delightful and poolside drink/food service employees very attentive! Can’t wait to go back!
Traveling with my grandson. Reserved a room with two queen beds, and was informed at check-in that all they had available were rooms with a king-size bed, and then they could bring in a rollaway bed! Fir a hotel of this status and cost, this is OUTRAGEOUS treatment of guests who simply wanted the two Queen-size beds we had reserved. Last time at this hotel for us!

Very nice Hotel and location but of the staff were rude ..I was shocked at paying 330.00 a night and than feeling like i was bothering the staff which included front desk, Bartenfer , servers etc .

We had a very nice stay. Restaurants were close by and Saturday brunch was a nice surprise. Staff very helpful. Corrected a problem we had with our room immediately.

The room was nice and bed very comfortable, but The Vinoy was overpriced and we had several problems there. We paid extra for room with balcony and view for special anniversary. The balcony was very small and unusable with sitting rainwater during two days of off/on sun and rain. View Overlooking harbor and pool and rooftops okay but not that special. Housekeeping Staff walked into room without knocking once, and housekeeping knocked on door multiple times for invalid reasons on two days. Front desk tried to make right with discount but whole experience very disappointing. Overall: Rooms, Restaurant and parking overpriced. Stairs to enter lobby slippery in rain. Bar with tv in middle of pricey restaurant not good atmosphere. Food disappointing for price although service good. Other chain hotels in Area likely better value. Extremely long walk required lifting suitcases up stairs and walking up ramps to get to supposedly better rooms in towers. Not a 4-5 star experience.
We were very happy with our stay at the venoy. We would definitely recommend the venoy to our friends. We were most impressed by your breakfast and the service especially cliff he went over and beyond our expectations. Thank you again, Paula Sutton

Fantastic hotel! I booked this last minute to be near the marinas for a business trip. The location was really accessible to everything near by. The pool was very nice and has a great view. Swimming at night was a treat. The room was very clean and comfortable. Overall it is hard to beat this hotel and I will book it again the next time I am staying in the area.
Civilized. Historic property ideally located at north end of downtown St. Pete. Expansive Bay views from room. Sipped drinks on veranda in rocking chairs gazing through palms to bay. Had dinner in marvelous historic dining room where we were surprised by great sushi. Restaurant info doesn't mention it at all but clearly everyone knew- the sushi chefs stayed busy. High end but not stuffy- just nice. Had a great weekend getaway.
The hotel was very nice. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The location was amazing, right by the water and all that the downtown area has to offer. The spa and amenities were fabulous. The gym was largest I've seen for a hotel. There was spinning and yoga classes! The room I stayed in was a bit smaller than I anticipated, but still nice.
