Didn't stay. Smelled awful (urine). Very tired, Construction on two sides of street. No refund.
Had a great stay at a classic boutique hotel. Renovations have made it much better than when we stayed there several years ago.
This was our third stay here. The hotel is very centrally located and close to the waterfront, restaurants and attractions. We had a small issue with our toilet in the morning and was given the key to another room so we could use the facilities! Great customer service! Will definitely stay again!
Kind of creepy looking. Different in person than in pictures.
An old but updated hotel. Rooms are small and need more places to sit and store things. Parking is a hassle with a limited valet service. No on site parking. A parking garage nearby. I went for price as they were the cheapest downtown. The Hampton Inn right next door were $60 higher per night.
Room and bath were far better than prior reviews. Great stay. I can't wait to bring my wife back for a few days. Very romantic. Parking garage was safe and convenient. Every thing is so beautiful along the waterfront. You do not want to leave the area. Lots to do within walking distance.
Came for the Indycar race paid WAYYYY too much. Front desk staff didn't even stand up when you walked in, spoke little English, and were generally confused about life itself. Housekeeping walked in the room twice even though the do not disturb sign was up. Maintenance issues everywhere. Hotel is crumbling, ceiling tiles had holes everywhere, most of the room number signs were missing at least one number. Bathroom had hair in it. The one shelf wasn't usable, it was leaning downward. The blinds smelled as if they hadn't been cleaned ever. Other housekeeping issues were masked with a pleasant perfume. The location however is outstanding close to everything, race cars actually passed right by the hotel. It's sad that this place is such a dump. A proper hotelier would do very well. All these issues are due to poor management a strong leader will be able to turn this place around and make it the best place in St. Pete.
The front desk clerk is distracted by smartphone text messages when checking-in. Four hours later a phone is received informing one that they're assigned to the wrong room and need to move. The new room is clean but the bathroom is so small one can brush their teeth while sitting on the toilet with one leg in the shower :>) The upstairs " kitchen workroom" requires a facelift. The printer isn't working. Public parking is available across the street. The Ceviche lounge is busy and popular. Low expectations yields happiness.
Excellent location and friendly staff! The bed was slightly hard and the shower was odd and small, reminded me of a cruise ship shower. Other than that it was great.
The hotel is smack-dab in the middle of downtown and close to the water. We walked to restaurants, cafes, the pier and the ballfield for the baseball game that was our original reason to go to St. Pete. We found a great Irish pub, a Tapas brunch restaurant and a breakfast cafe/diner just because of their proximity to the Ponce de Leon. The hotel is SO nice--our view was of the main front street and the waterfront. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the accommodations were wonderful without being pricey. We will definitely return next time we're in that area.
great location. free shuttle to and from Tropicana field for the rays games. One block from downtown for food and entertainment.
Stayed there for a night for the Bitcoin bowl and was a decent hotel for the price. It is what you would expect from a Boutique hotel with creaky hardwood etc but the location and price is why we picked it.
We had to be out of our downtown apartment for maintenance over the weekend. This hotel was the best value in downtown. The room was very small but good enough for what we needed. My girlfriend did request new sheets be put on the bed as ours had stains. They seemed to be washed but stained. There were a few cigarette burns in the carpet. The mini fridge and microwave worked. The TV in our room was incredibly tiny. I believe it's a 13 inch. We stayed on the 6th floor and had to take the stairs when we first checked in because the elevator went out. They had it fixed within 5-10 minutes so they were very attentive.
For the price and location, this was a great pick and bang for your buck. The staff was very friendly. The location was wonderful, being a block from the pier and waterfront. On the weekend, there is a fantastic farmers market just a block away. The hotel itself, though, wasn't so great. The rooms were extremely small. I ended up having to stay in two different rooms (because I booked the nights at different times). In the first room, the bathroom sink was outside of the bathroom and in the second room, the bed pulled down from the wall.
Great time the amenities were great the view was great the hotel was great the view was awesome and had a very good time room was clean staff was amazing
staff is super friendly and helpful and the location could not be better. my wife and i stay here because the location is unbeatable and we come to st. pete for a short period of time...mostly spent out of the room. the value is fantastic and we always have a blast.
I liked the charm and character, but the room had an odor and the carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed. Fantastic location! Overall, not bad.
Blocks from the Dali, MFA, and tons of fun downtown bars! The queen suite was roomy, had a balcony, and a great view!
Staff was very nice, room was small and didn't have space to put your things away, no fridge in room, ice on 3rd floor. AC was loud bathroom small. No pool and no parking area only street parking which worked out ok.But it was very clean, staff was very helpful and the downtown location was great. Since we spend very little time in the room it was better then spending $50 a night more next door. If we wanted to stay downtown again this is where we will stay. Enjoyed it.
