We recently stayed here and unfortunately had several maintenance issues that impacted our trip.
First, the heated pool is not included and costs an additional $30 per day. We paid for pool heating for our entire stay, but it didn’t work on the first day.
The shower drain was backed up, and we had to have a plumber come out twice during our vacation. It was very inconvenient to have maintenance workers in the house while we were trying to relax.
The host also repeatedly messaged us about taking the trash to the curb and warned us that we would be charged extra if we didn’t. While I understand having house rules, the repeated reminders felt excessive.
Other issues included:
* No hot water at the kitchen sink.
* The washing machine made an extremely loud noise, making it unpleasant to use.
* The dishwasher wasn’t secured properly and pulled out of the cabinet when opening it.
* The BBQ grill was so dirty that we couldn’t use it.
The home itself has potential, but there were too many maintenance issues for the price we paid. I hope these problems are addressed so future guests have a better experience.
