My wife and I travel a lot including international as well. So we have experience and stay in a lot of different hotels and this experience at RumFish is just average and I could have rates alot lower. the staff is friendly and courteous, but the room is just ok, not as nice and updated compared to other hetels I have stay in where is a 5-stars. However, what disappointed me the most is the amenities. I pay in full online on Orbitz, When I book the hotel and its list all the amenities that included, but when I check out, they charge me $185 for the amenities and taxes for 3nights stay. With all my stay over years at hotel, I have never been charge additional for the amenities. It just have included when you pay in full for your booking. So I was very shock and disappointed. I would recommended people to careful when booking at this hotel.

The room they gave me from the Expedia offer was awful, my wife almost cried when we went in, 3rd floor no view from any angle other than utility structures and garage, the neighbor balcony was less than 6" away, though the room was clean. Bottom line, I decided to expend $85.00 more per night for an upgrade and that changed everything. The clerk at the front desk was really helpful in finding the best room available, very courteous and professional. Even when the facilities are outdated, the cleanliness was great, our room was done every day, leaving it spotless; the housekeepers were courteous and flexible to accommodate to our needs. Restaurant and cafeterias good, swimming pools cleaned every day. Thank you Trade Winds for an awesome stay.

The hotel rooms—and the hotel overall—look much better in the photos than in reality. One staff member tried to pressure us into attending a hotel sales event. We were also charged unexpected taxes and fees on top of what we had already paid upfront. Also, they required a $150 deposit per night and held it for seven days, and part of it still hasn’t been refunded. To sum up, the whole experience felt questionable.

Small room was advertised to be much larger room bathroom ceiling was leaking water, fridge not working housekeeper knocked on my door 930 when check out not till 11 phone did not work aswell very disappointing thought better of Tradewinds and the rum fish location I travel all over never complain but this stay was unbelievable
