Guy Harvey Outpost, a TradeWinds Beach Resort

Wonderfully appointed resort with nice amenities on site with even more down the beach at a sister resort. Great music at poolside bar in evenings, smores. Resort fee is mandatory and extra but covers a lot of benefits.

Front desk employees very sarcastic. The rest of staff very nice. Rooms have a set up that is not convenient. The kitchen is located in the hallway. Don't ever pay extra to have the kitchen is not worth it. Kids pool is very small and located next to the bar. The only good thing was that you could use the amenities pools and other attractions at the Grand hotel, that was were I took my kids to swim.

Very nice hotel, great stay. Only thing I didn't like what I upgraded to the oceanfront balcony sweet. The picture online made the balcony look like a balcony. When you opened the sliding glass door there was only a guardrail, no balcony. I probably would have stayed at a different hotel if I would have known that. Drinking coffee on the balcony watching the shore everymorning and sunset at night is nice.

Charged $450 in extra resort fees without warning. Took two days to replace a broken fridge. Inflatable water park wasn't available the whole week we were there. The rest of our stay was very nice. Wish we didn't have the hiccups along the way. Vacation shouldn't be stressful.

A little pricey on food but overall nice Overall will be back

The staff are terrific and the room size is good. The room was noisy though, on one side it was the bad cover band at the hotel next door and on the other side the guitar player from the hotel itself. The musicians shut down at 10:00 pm so it wasn't loud later into the evening. Besides that everything else was great and I would go back.

My kids had fun with all of the activities which of course were an ADDED fee but hotel needs renovation desperately!

Nice hotel. Most of facility amenities paid for are at sister resort. As with most resorts food prices are crazy but right on the beach, clean and staff was great. Wait staff was very friendly but twice had to track down someone so we could pay our tab. Overall, really nice and a pleasant stay.

Resort Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would like to return for another vacation.

Relaxing and comfortable. I loved my personal cabana on the beach and knowing it was reserved each day. My room was bright and cheery.

Rum fish grill = 4.5 stars - excellent menu with good customer service Hotel = 4.0 - Older hotel with fresh paint and a few updated features (lobby was nice), rooms need some work for the price, balcony super small in our double bed suite. Was able to upgrade room for $40 to include ocean view and kitchenette Beach bar = 3.0 BUT head to salty down the beach for knock out margaritas and live music all day Early check in was a breeze (1PM)

Outstanding staff- could not have been more accommodating.

The stay was awesome. We only had one complaint. At night, there where local bands that rocked out, which is fine...we just would have enjoyed it better if the rooms where a bit more sound proof. Everything else was wonderful. The people of this area where all helpful and pleasant. There where plenty to do.

Great time to visit end of August as it was slow and didn't have any problems using all the amenities. However there was some construction going on at trade winds so we couldn't use the trampolines or one of the pools. The rest of the pools are ninice though . All of the bars and dining options are awesome. The oceanfront suite was beautiful and well worth the price! All of the staff were very friendly. There is tons of stuff to do between both resorts and the ocean is super close. Had fun looking for stringrays and shells in the morning's. The private cabanas are so nice and set up for you after you reserve, which was easy to do the night before. Loved the huge slide and water park, my kids had a blast and so did I. Will defiantly be back

My boyfriend and I recently went on vacation to St. Pete Beach. We stayed at Guy Harvey Outpost, a TradeWinds Beach Resort and it did meet my expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend family and/or my friends to stay there.

Hotel was nice but the beach is below expectation, huge waves and water is not clear the color is actually green not blue as advertised, also the water park was not included in the resort fee and was over priced (16$ per hour) huge disappointment and should be mentioned on the website of the hotel that includes a lot of pictures for the water park,it was the main reason we selected this hotel :(

We were staying here for a family vacation on the beach. We really enjoyed the quiet area of Guy Harvey compared to the Island Grand but loved that we were able to use both resorts. Our 3 boys loved playing mini golf every morning after breakfast. I also liked that the cabanas were included in the resort fee. We also enjoyed being able to walk to different restaurants for supper but especially enjoyed eating at Spinners Rooftop. This restaurant slowly spins around and you are able to see the entire beach and sunset.

Great! We had a wonderful time and will come back with friends and family

Not what you expect, crowded small pool and facilities. Terrible customer service.

Guy Harvey was amazing...the beach and pools stunning and make sure you go down the giant slide!
