The property and its garden is well maintained . Loved the flowers growing everywhere

This was a great stay for the price. It was an older crowd, which is exactly what we were looking for, quiet & friendly. The hotel property is very cozy, with a nice sized pool, flowers, bar, beachfront & restaurant. My wife had a relaxing massage there too. The beachfront is a little small and underwater is pretty grassy, but again, it’s very cozy. Great staff that was very accommodating. We had the all-inclusive package, which I would definitely recommend, unless you’re just using this as a base to get out & explore. We just relaxed & didn’t leave the property. The prices for food & drink are quite expensive if you don’t have all-inclusive, so it was great for us. We probably got our money’s worth on drinks alone. Definitely recommend this place!

Quiet and low key. Excellent food. Very nice location. People were very nice. Clean but needs some maintenance. Perfect for what we paid and what we are looking for.

I LOVED THIS PLACE. Went on a last minute solo trip to Antigua. When I first arrived, I felt the peace right away. They were definitely following COVID protocols in terms of cleanliness and maximum amount of guests. As a 28 year old woman who works as a director in the NYC school system during a time like this, trust me, it was perfect to come encounter such peace. Rooms, pools, lobby, seating areas, beaches were all clean. It is a very cozy hotel. I actually like the "outdated feel" aside from the lovely locks on the doors, but it was nothing I couldn't get used to. ALL HOTEL STAFF from waiters to owners provided AMAZING support and assistance at all times. I LOVED how humble the owners were. They greeted and treated their guests and employees all the same. They recommended and booked excursions for you, communicated any updates and even had their own known doctor come to the hotel to provide COVID tests for travel departures. I met amazing people during my stay who I plan on staying in contact with. I enjoyed the food very much. Although there weren't buffet options, the waiters and cooks were open to suggestions at all times. LOVED EVERYONE THERE AND PLAN TO RETURN ON ONE MY LAST MINUTE SOLO TRIPS!

Great value, the staff was so friendly and fun. The restaurant had good food and the pool was nice and large.

The facility was very clean and well kept. It doesn't appear to have been updated for quite some time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent. be advised that the electric plugs in the room appear to be a USA type, the electricity is 220 volts.

This is a beautiful resort. Our first try of an all inclusive. The buffets at all meals are great with lots of choices but you have to have will power. Pasta is delicious as it is an Italian run resort. There is desert each night ( small cakes and pies). Drinks and wine and cappuccino included. We rented a car but drove into a ditch and took it back. 2 fellows helped us out but we had to pay $350 for damages. There are large potholes all over the island . Go to Barbuda and see the frigate reserve . It was the highlight of the trip. We didn’t feel prickly pear island was anything special and The snorkeling was nonexistent. Stick with BVI and USVI if this is what you like to do. The island is not that attractive but do not miss the barbecue and steel drums at Shirley heights. Claudia at activities desk is wonderful,

The peace and quiet. The staff was so friendly and had excellent customer service

This quaint resort was everything that we hoped for! We were in Elba, Italy two years ago and were reminded of our stay there. The accomodations were perfect-smaller than the mega hotels with a FABULOUS pool area! The 40+meter pool was perfects for laps! Two small beach areas were well maintained and not crowded. The food was fresh and delicious! The Italian chefs provided 2 different pasta choices for lunch EVERY day and 2-3 unique pasta choices for dinner! Meat and veggie/fruit dieters would be very pleased with the Fresh fish plus succulent meat choices for lunch AND dinner! The only negative would be that we only stayed 5 nights!!!!! HIGHLY recommend OP for anyone seeking a laid back tropical vacation to a VERY accomodating resort. Another plus for me was that the owner was there greeting her guests, participating in the everyday functions of the resort and taking the time to chat with me about her background and the resort. LOVED IT! We will go back every or every other year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very quite and hotel staff very friendly. Food was very good; italian style.

Lovely hotel, quiet, fun, terrific food, laid-back European seaside feel.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff, a small private beach and delicious food. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

It was a good resort with friendly staff. The food was excellent . The beach was not impressive. There are better beaches in Antigua however you eill need a taxi or bus to get there

Tranquility, comfort, genuine (not fake!) care, attentive hosts & intelligent guests. For us, personally, this set was winning issue for this place.

The hotel appears old, but is maintained well. Lovely grounds, but lots of stairs may hamper those with limited mobility. The large pool is clean, with many comfortable loungers around it. Pretty, small beaches. Pleasant staff. All-inclusive plan features Italian-style buffet food, but ala carte options can be purchased. (I might get bored with the buffet after a few days.) The hotel is far from St. John's and other restaurants and shops, so a car or cab is required if you want to do anything. But if you just want to relax and enjoy your days, this is a nice, quiet destination. I would recommend this place.

Not a single complaint!! Food was excellent, always fresh, as well as stuff that was made to order. Staff was very friendly and nice. Rooms were cleaned daily everything was always spotless. Pool was clean so are the beaches. This place is truly paradise...

I enjoyed the place and it was very pleasant. The breakfast by the ocean was very pleasant. There is a Getty and a few beaches within the complex. There were a lot of Italian guests. The dinner buffet is a good. There are not a lot of restaurants nearby. I think some of the southern beaches I saw might have been a little more dramatic, but the location was good for me.
