We recently stayed at The Nook for a few days and, overall, had a pleasant stay, although there are a few areas that could be improved.
The apartment is quaint with an unusual but well-designed layout, and it felt spacious throughout. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped, with great appliances, a large fridge freezer and a washing machine. The beds were extremely comfortable, the lounge was cosy, and having TVs with Netflix in both bedrooms was a lovely touch. The bathroom was also very nice, with a large bath, and aside from the toilet on arrival, the apartment was clean.
The location is excellent and close to the beach. The garden is a fantastic size but felt rather neglected, and some seating would make it much more inviting.
Finding the property was stressful as we were only given half the postcode, so clearer directions would be appreciated. The toilet flush was very weak, and there were stains in the toilet when we arrived. The shower had good pressure, but the shower head wouldn’t stay in position. The touchscreen keypad was also difficult to use, especially with the stiff front door. The Wi-Fi was patchy and only worked reliably in parts of the apartment.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but felt it was a little expensive for the current standard and didn’t quite match the photos and description. With a few improvements, it could be a really lovely place to stay.
