House is amazing. Location phenomenal. Everything you need in a kitchen. View of the water and fort, breathtaking. Watched the sunrise every morning from provate dock. House is within a seriously short walk from everything. Will definately be staying here again!

Absolute tranquility

Our first vacation in 2 years. Truly incredible house on bay with spectacular dock. Although we enjoyed viewing historic buildings where we could walk to,Sitting in the screened in porch watching the sunrise, sipping coffee and listening to the cathedral bells ring, was above relaxing

Perfect location

This place is spitting distance from the fort. You can walk to downtown in minutes. About 1 mile from the fountain of youth. A short drive north or south to the beaches, grocery store. The house is at the end of a quiet street with off street parking. Views of the water, passing water craft and the Lions bridge. Clean and spacious kitchen. The full size washer and dryer are wonderful, quiet and easy access. John promptly answered any questions I had. The only drawback is the kitchen floor is brick - real brick - and uncomfortable to walk on in bare feet, so bring some slippers or flip flops to shuffle around in. Great house and the most perfect location.

What a view!

Cottage is well appointed and very cute. Clean except for seeing bugs and evidence of bugs. Saw 4-5 but this is Florida. Porch is outdated but adequate. Host communicated well in beginning but waited for several replies. Was granted an early check in but when we got there there the cleaner was still there. She had an emergency and not sure host communicated about early check in. Nice place and would stay again.

Hurricane Helene

The dates we selected was over hurricane Helene. We watched the storm over the river. The wind was very strong uplifting a tree to fall just short of our rental. The location can’t be beat! Close enough to walk to attractions without having to fight parking. We especially enjoyed fishing from the dock.

The best spot in St. Augustine!

The house is adorably decorated and immaculate. Every single thing about the house was perfect. We spent evenings sitting on the dock at the end of the pier, and it was the most relaxing time we’ve had in a long while. So easy to walk to restaurants or bars. The nightlife in St. Augustine isn’t too crazy. My favorites of the trip - seeing manatees, from the dock, the view of the fort lit up at night, and the Bridgebof Lions. Come here for the most relaxing time!

Beautiful Home & Location, Awful Smell

This home is beautiful and nearly perfect for our stay. The location was within walking distance to the Fort and Downtown area of St. Augustine. We watched sea turtles and dolphins feed in the evenings which was a beautiful sight. We would complain that the house smelled of awful feline/rodent urine and while we were sitting on the back dock, we noticed a raccoon that had made its way into the roofing of the home, which could explain the putrid smell. I had contacted the host many times before our arrival but was unsuccessful in connecting with him until after our check-in. The home next door gave me dilapidated horror movie vibes, but it was very quiet and undisturbing. There seem to be many cameras around the property, could only imagine that there were some inside the home too. Great Location, and great potential, but would not return.

Centrally located

Beautiful home on the water with lovely sunrises. The kitchen is well stocked with a lot of little extras like beer mugs in the fridge ready for a cold one! We enjoyed fishing off the dock and even caught a keeper snapper. The house is centrally located within walking distance to several restaurants, shopping and venues.

Unique waterfront

Unique location, close to downtown, but quiet and waterfront with a dock. Cabin was clean, linens were nice, view was awesome. Management could do more with pest management, 4 roaches were in the cabin.

The boathouse is an awesome spot to stay. The location is fabulous. The screened in porch is great for having morning coffee. My husband loved fishing off the private dock. We could walk to lots of restaurants and leave the car behind. We would totally stay here again!

Best Location Ever

We loved our weeklong stay at this home. The location could not have been better. It was very comfortable and we felt like we lived there. We loved sitting in the screened in porch to watch the birds and boats going by. We were able to walk to restaurants and activities in Old St. Augustine. The trolley station is right on the corner 2 blocks down. If you are coming to this area you really need to stay here. You will be pleased.
