I don't know how this place has any ratings of 3 star or better. Floor in room was dirty including food and trash under the bed; bathroom sink was coming off of wall; beds were sagging in the middle, thermostat didn't work (set to 70 but jumped up to 73 in the middle of the night.) Certainly would not recommend and will not go back.

After looking at reviews and booking, because this motel had an "Excellent" rating, I was extremely disappointed. Staff was very friendly. We (3 rooms total) came in after midnight and were sent to the very back of the property. I was met with a bug laying on it's back. The motel had a musty, old smell. By the time I had checked out, I had gotten used to it. There may have been some updates, but not enough, in my opinion. The windows looked to be original to the motel and not clean around them, the tracks and the sills. The beds were good enough...I've had worse, but certainly had better. The pedestal sinks were a poor choice, because even with the little glass shelf above it, there is not any room for the hair dryer, etc. The bathroom did seem to be clean, however, other than the window area. The breakfast definitely was not "good", "great", "amazing" or "above average" as described in the reviews. The lady attending the breakfast area was very attentive and friendly, so we all gave her a very generous tip, because the quality of the food isn't her fault. I have NO idea how this hotel received 10/10 ratings or "Excellent" ratings. Trust me on this one, folks. If you are ok with a "Good" or "Very Good" rating, you may be satisfied with this, but this motel is the very reason I normally only stay in hotels with "Excellent" and above ratings. I assumed the few bad reviews I read were from people that aren't happy with anything and maybe wanted a refund. I was wrong.

Good location, nice staff, great price. It’s a plus to be able to park right outside your room for ease of entering and unloading/loading your luggage. Only “negative”-needs updating as it appears to not have been updated since the 1980s. Overall, good place to stay overnight while visiting for family weekend.

A quiet place, a great getaway.

Very happy with our stay, I would highly recommend! I loved the relaxed atmosphere, the fact we could just sit and relax at one of the tables outside our room, no one to bother us! Very laid back, I enjoyed strolling around the property grounds without a worry for safety. Breakfast was alright. We liked the fact we could see our car from the room and go out anytime. It was perfect for our needs. The bed was comfy enough and the area was quiet.

This was a super cute property and unique for the area. We were able to park right outside our room. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The pool is closed after Labor Day, and I didn't pay attention to that when booking. But, I'm still glad we stayed here.
