Radisson Blue Split a great hotel, team real outstanding with a passion to serve, like in the old Habsburg time, location perfect, rooms with a great view, pure fantastic, a place to be and Split anytime a trip worth. Front desk team love to entertain and fulfill all requirements, Food very fine, Spa team superb. Was there in 1st Nov. for 4 nights, weather warm and sunny, sea at 19 degrees, all in all Radison Blue Split is a perfect place to be and price equation in relation to quality 100 %. Louis M. from Munich and I will be back for sure.
Lets start with positives: great friendly accommodating staff always smiling and always ready to help! Second positive thing is breakfast which is tasty, plentiful and diverse! You have everything from cereal to croissants! Even banana smoothie included! Room size is excellent and room is very clean! Cleaning ladies do a very good job! Negatives: location is far from city center so you have to take taxi every time which comes to 35 kunas one way! Surrounding is not very pleasing, with failed in middle of construction apartment complex on one side and constriction zone on the other! Second look of the hotel! While hotel is less than seven years old there is lot of wear and tear going on! Carpet was in very bad shape in our room! Bathroom tiles were chopped, while bathroom sink and toilet were yellowish due to poor choice of materials, which are very cheap! Wall paper was pealing off and furniture was shoddy! One thing was that bed was very comfy and pillows were excellent! The main problem is that who ever was main contractor for building the hotel did a very bad job and materials used throughout hotel are cheap and poor quality! Finally their signature restaurant was big disappointment! Once again staff was on top of things but quality of food was not! Under-seasoned, bland, and just plain tasteless! Too bad because I was really looking forward to nice dinner and knowing how good breakfast is had high hopes! Would I recommend a stay in this hotel! I know it will not be my first choice when I go to Split next time! The only way I will stay again there if price is really really affordable and there are no rooms in other hotels! I wish hotel was being presented better and taken care off! Two thumbs up for staff because it must be hard putting a brave face when so many other things in the hotel are questionable!
Family of 5, visiting quickly for a night on way down coast. The kids really like it. Pros - located by beach, and great views of the water - indoor pool (also an outdoor during summer) - good buffet breakfast included - good service - adjoining rooms available Cons - rooms are fine but a bit odd, with frosted glass walls but partly see-through around bathroom - bed positioned in middle of room but not against wall
Last month I was with my wife on hotel site inspection trip to select hotel in Split for our future group incentives. We were pleasantly with this hotel, food, staff in the hotel was nice and pleasant, helpful. Accommodation was very good and we are planning to work with this hotel in the future.
Love this hotel, the offered views and all the facilities. Second time here and its just fantastic. The Spa area offers jacuzzis, pool, gym, yoga room and treaments. Soon a new sauna. The service is top noch. The food in the restaurant is also super. And, the views are dreamlike!
Everything was excellent or almost excellent. Saunas didn't work due to renovation, which is understandable. I had breakfast very early. Everything was prepared but I believe that some things should be made directly in front of the guest (eggs). Also, variety of food could be better. There are many local food products (especially meat products) which are delicious and I couldn't find them. Dinner at the Caper grill was outstanding.
We spent one night here off season (October) on our Croatian journey. We didn't have a lot of time in the hotel but i must say the room seemed very comfortable. it was super ultra modern and kind of fun to stay in. The bathroom had a very nice large shower with very good water pressure. Very helpful staff, nice and clean.
Have just spent an enjoyable week at the Radisson Blu; I would have rated this 5* but for the fact our senior suite had a view of the crane swinging precariously close to the hotel; disappointed we did not get allocated the suite at the other end with a beautiful view of the Marina. Also very disruptive drilling whilst we were trying to have a peaceful morning sunbathing as part of the Spa was being overhauled. Two days with no indoor pool when the weather was dodgy was also upsetting for the kids. Breakfast was however, a delight, fresh self squeezed orange juice, plenty of freshly baked pastries and the restaurant was never crowded. Special shout out to Luka who was charming and brought the kids hot chocolate every morning. We spent one evening at the Caper restaurant, expecting a high class restaurant given the excellent reviews, but it was average food with no atmosphere and far too expensive. Think I have been spoilt by spending years visiting Middle East Radisson SAS hotels as Split was nowhere near the same standard.
Builders drilling from half 7 in morning! Indoor Pool closed and empty on arrival day then freezing next 2 days! Room upgrade to sea view and balcony nice but view to derelict building with grafiti not lovely to look at! Shame it had been abandoned! Breakfast amazing! So much choice. All staff so helpful and friendly.Drilling all day at hotel and crane lifting cement. Very noisy. Not relaxing! Didnt think it was worth £540 for 4 nights! Parking charge was very expensive too! We hired car for £5 a day and the parking charge was 12 Euros a day so more than the car hire!
This hotel is very convenient to public transportation. The very best part is the breakfast as the selection is phenomenal and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good but nothing exceptional however the breakfast is exceptional.
- Free buffet breakfast
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
- Onsite dining
