Overall, not worth the prices charged

1. No one on property for evening issues like drunk people running up and down the halls, yelling and arguing. 2. The room was not cleaned nor new towels or toilet paper left. We had to walk around and find workers to get those things. To be clear tgats 5 days of no maid service 3. They require wrist bands but theyre not enforced. The hotel is located next to public access and many people started showing up as early as 8 AM taking up parking, using the beach area, bar area, volleyball area and pool with no enforcement of wrist bands. 4. We asked for a couple of the drinks shown on the website and was told, "We don't make those here." So, the menu for food and the bar is extremely misleading as is the pool area. 5. The pool is a cocktail pool completely shaded, not a pool people can enjoy and use as a normal pool. Overall, the stay was not worth the price paid when there were other accomodations/hotels we've stayed at on the island that include room cleaning, breakfast, have round the clock workers to enforce safety and wrist bands, and have real pools and amenities for guests only.

Staff was friendly, location was convenient but Room is outdated. I experienced both nights of stay between 2am-5am there is loud music, people yelling and fighting. Would pick a different hotel next time.

If you just need a place to sleep this place is for you. I won't lie, the bed was comfortable, nice and firm, just like I like. Bathroom was tiny and you can tell they've tried to update, but it looks like they hurried and just slapped white paint on everything and didn't clean up. They need a better contractor if they continue to renovate. Pool area is small and shallow but decentand the bar are is not bad. Beach access was a plus.

This was one of the best properties I've stayed in in SPI. It was reasonably priced, quiet, clean and on the beach. My family and I will definitely stay here again.

This is a special place to stay. It’s the oldest motel on the island. They are working hard to bring it back to original glory. The Winter Texans are a friendly and fun bunch.

We had to call the manager in order to open up our room because their system was down. The shower head looked half out of the wall. The next morning the family downstairs left chips trashed along the floor and their stroller out. I booked for a suite with a couch and they gave me one without it.

Dislikes-The front desk has limited staff times and no one to address concerns. We had no hot water and no one was there in the morning till 9am. After the beach bar closed people were loud then there was fighting at 2 am yelling and woke everyone up and I was told that I should have just called the police. No place to hang anything up. No toilet paper holder so the paper is just on the back of the toilet and no hooks or anything to hang wet swimsuits from. The sink base is not even against the wall and wouldn't dare to put anything there. Took many phone calls during the night with no answer then finally in the morning they returned my calls and we transfered to a different property. I was in tears at that point. The picture are NOT accurate to the current conditions. Pool is very small and needs a paint job. No hair dryer or coffee maker in room. Parking can be an issue since 1/2 of it is public beach parking. I could go on and on. I would NOT recommend if you have kids. Likes-The bed was comfortable, right on the beach

Their website claims there is 24/7 office staff. When we arrived, the office was closed. There was no note on the door. I asked housekeeping staff when it would open and was directed to the bar tender in the bar who did checked us in. The office did not open that evening nor before we left the following morning. We had to ask about our free drinks and were told it was a limit of one per room. The bartender phoned her boss and did give us two, claiming Expedia had not worded it correctly. The place has had major upgrades since our last stay and was comfortable.
