We really enjoyed our stay at Haven House. The house is beautiful and very clean. It is well stocked with everything you could need to enjoy your stay including spices, nice bath products, plenty of toilet paper, trash bags and all the basics. The fire pit and out door seating were very nice. The pool and hot tub are really nice and just a short walk. All in all a lovely stay for us, our adult kids and 2 year old grandson - who loves the adorable kids room!! Thanks for a great stay!!

The house was well equipped. We had plenty of space for our group of seven. The location was good. Fire pit in back. Pool close for kids. Beach about 10 minute walk. The complex is tight, houses close together and not much parking. It was very busy this time of year. Needs a TV in the master bedroom.

A great get-away home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the proximity of the home to the year-round pool, downtown, and South and North Beaches. Top of the line cleanliness too! Definitely would stay here again.

Michigan Christmas 2024

We came from Chicago and the other family from Ohio, meeting kinda in the middle. Our goal was to get away from the drama. It was a success. The house was equipped with everything that we could have needed. We came during the off season- they even put up some decorations for us! Great location to downtown and to the seclusion of the Lake Michigan beaches! We will return!

Very Clean and Lots of Space

This was perfect for the stay for our family with 6 adults and 2 kids. There's two living areas, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms, and a great outdoor area. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make meals. There are two pools within short walking distance, and a small beach ~15 mins away. Check-In and Out was very easy and everything was very clean.

Beautiful home, odd location, beware of excess fees

Loved how clean and large the home was for our two families (4 adults and 3 kids). The pool onsite was an added bonus for late afternoon swims (side note- the community bathrooms were dirty and need to be cleaned regularly by the HOA). Location is a bit odd- it's a subdivision still under construction and houses are extremely close together. Newcomb Beach is not a true beach (more like a sand strip between 2 private beaches) and the water/shore was covered in algae. All fine- North Beach and town is just a 5-10 minute drive away. Also be sure to book with the property manager directly to avoid the outrageous VRBO fees. Property manager wouldn't let us rebook directly with them as they have a 'no cancellation' policy. With a 4pm check in and 10 am checkout it is not a good value for what you pay per night.

Great house, great location!

My family of 6 (husband and I and our three adult children and son in law) totally enjoyed our stay at Haven House! We brought our dog as well and that was seamless! The house is so cute (are one issue was the master/King bed was on the softer side which didn't work for my husband with back issues but that's just us!) The area couldn't be more perfect - we walked everyday and everyone is so friendly :) We loved walking to Newcome Beach - watched the sunset there twice and it was breathtaking. The area surrounding Haven House is just beautiful - we highly recommend it!!

Great stay!

Short distance to the beach and short walk to community pool! Kitchen was more stocked with odds and ends (salt, pepper, etc than we expected). Side note: we had two infants with us and the insulation was great. Babies could sleep and adults could still go about their day downstairs/outside

Deceitful advertising.

There was no pool on the property. The nearest pool was 2 and a half blocks away. Lake Michigan was about a mile away. Had to drive and then the public beach was a narrow strip between private property. The picture on the web showed a pool on the property.

Family Getaway

My parents came to visit us from New York and they had never been to Michigan. Since South Haven is not a far drive from our Chicago suburbs, we decided to spend a few nights at Haven House. It was perfect for everyone! My teens and tween all loved the bedroom areas and enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools during our stay. My mom and dad loved the decor and comfort of the house. It was close to the town and the state park too. The management company was quick to respond to any questions as well. We would highly recommend!

Girls weekend

The beach was so close we were able to do morning walks on the Lakeshore, which was beautiful. It was close enough to town where we didn’t have to drive very much or we could have walked. It was close enough to wineries for us to enjoy stopping at a couple and having some food and Laughs together. South Haven is very cute. And the condo was beautiful
