Centrally located. Closer to Elkhart than Shipshewana, but inside Amish Country. Good experience.
We arrived late after our GPS took us on an unplanned tour of nothing but empty fields and no signs of life for 1.5 hours only to get to the hotel and be told that they had sold our room because we were not there by 2 am. They did give a room with a king size bed and a roll-away until the next day when we could switch to a room with two queen beds. Heated pool was cold, towels hard and scratchy and breakfast was not that good. Price was inflated because there was a Notre Dame football game that weekend. Normal price is $76 per night but I paid $130. I was there to visit family not see a football game. Not worth the price!
Quick stay for a night. This hotel offered all that I needed, including breakfast.
My husband and I enjoyed this stay very much. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean. Due to overbooking the room we requested, they upgraded our room to include a hot tub. The only problem was that when I returned home I saw an extra charge to my credit card. When I called, they told me it was probably just that they had run it through for approval and that if it does not go off of my account that I should call back in a few days. This has not been resolved yet.
