I didnot stay. I walked out. It was dirty and unkept in the lobby -- and no available restroom facilities All locked, indicating use your own guest room. The whole situation was unsavory!!! I was on a long cross country trip from California and needed a rest room. We ended up having a delightful night at Inn at St. Mary's and a pleasant dinner at Hilton Garden Bistro. at La Quinta, the desk person was so over whelmed I could not get near her. Many people waiting!! I should have asked for my prepaid money To Orbitz back. I was really disappointed and will NEVER book a La Quinta again, which is too bad as I have successfully used them in California!! AND I'm not sure about Orbitz!! This hotel in So. Bend was not up to snuff!!! Too bad!!! Martha Siefert
It was clean, staff friendly. Great location, easy to find, and it was much nicer than the Comfort Inn we had stayed in the week before.
Bedding soft and great pillows, very clean and good price. I would definitely stay again. Only complaint is it took more than 20 minutes to fill the tub for a bath.
We choose this hotel for its location, newness and overall price as we booked 4 rooms for one night for a small group. Exercise room was great and breakfast was very nice. Out of the 4 rooms we had booked two were cleaned. After we were assigned new rooms one of them was still not clean so back down to the lobby for another guess. The hotel was by no means packed. The room I stayed had the heat on(90 degrees outside)when we arrived and had a slight smell. There were hairs in the shower too but after a long day of travel we didn’t feel like going back to the lobby again. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again.
The hotel itself is lovely and new. The staff was kind and helpful. We encountered bed bugs, though- I asked for a different room, and they were accommodating as well as quote horrified at the prospect of bed bugs. I would appreciate at least a partial refund of what we paid for two nights stay.
I liked absolutely everything about my stay - with one minor exception; the breakfast was somewhat cold. I say it's a minor exception because I got to the breakfast area right when it was opening, so I need to cut them some slack. I will stay there again.
Place is beautiful! We liked everything except our room backed up to the laundry which was noisy a lot of the night
The tiled / fake wood floors were sticky. But it’s a new building. (Also, don’t look in the overflow hole in the sink)
Pillows weren’t the most comfortable TV remote was missing, but staff the staff resolved that issue. Hallway was noisy very late at night (New Year’s Eve).

When I check in the front desk staff is not attentive and not kind. but other thing is good.
First experience - odor in the hallways (not fresh clean smelling). Second - our first room (2nd floor) had damp carpet. We were not informed of construction at the hotel ahead of our reservation inquiry.
Room and lobby were very clean. Room had a straw wrapper left on the floor but if that's the worst I find for cleanliness, I'm good. Staff were extremely friendly and eager to ensure all was well. Shower was the worst part due to cold water. Overheard other guests in the lobby mentioning they didn't have hot water either. Water was room temp.
