Economical and quiet. Convenient to the highway.
Bathroom fan was noisy. Heather fan was noisy. Everything else was good.
Not much to like about this 2 star motel. What i didn't like was the dirty bathroom, the defrosted fridge full of water upon arrival, but most of all, THE HIDDEN CHARGES THAT APPEARED WHEN I ARRIVED. We chose a "pet friendly" hotel, hence a 2 star. We prepaid the hotel thru Orbitz as required. Upon check in I was informed of an additional $20 PER NIGHT PER PET fee to stay in the pet friendly (meaning no carpet and smoke infested) building. There was a sign at check in warning that rooms left extremely dirty would be charged an additional $80 cleaning fee. So except for a small amount of kitty litter on the floor, i left the room cleaner than i found it. If there had been a broom, i would have cleaned that up also Now a $59 charge has appeared on my credit statement. I have not yet gotten through to the motel to find out why.
Noise from the washer and dryer till 1:00 AM. The walls are very thin and you can hear every word from the next room. No Breakfast, NO Waffles, Just coffee and rolls... For and over night it is fine but that is about it... I can find better for about the same price..
Room is big and comfy. Could use a bigger parking lot .
The hotel was decently close to Notre Dame, however non-smoking room wreaked horribly of smoke and "queen" beds are seemingly only full size. Room was alright, but not completely comfortable.
I was very disappointed with this particular Econo Lodge. First of all, when I checked in, the desk clerk informed me that I was being given a room with a Jacuzzi, but "my boss doesn't want you to use it". Then, when I got into the room, I discovered that there was no clock and no hair dryer. (I have NEVER had a hotel/motel room without a clock before!) Furthermore, the water hookup at the wash basin was backwards: to get hot water, I had to turn to cold; to get cold water, I had to turn to hot. The security "plate" on the entrance door was the strangest thing I have ever seen, and frankly, I didn't have much confidence in it. I would NOT stay there again unless I knew there were upgrades.
We were in town for the Notre Dame/Texas game. The hotel clerk told me we owed around $230 and I told her we had already paid $285. She called the manager and that got resolved but was never given an answer why we paid $285 instead of $230. The rates were A LOT cheaper than other hotels in the area for this weekend.
room is clean and carpet is clean. One thing missing is cloth hangers and railing!
We needed an inexpensive place; easy on/easy off, one night stay with air-conditioning and TV. Even though it was on the second floor walk up, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It is an older building and there are issues, but for one night it was perfectly fine.
Clean, outdated and no frills. Ok if all you Srebrenica looking for is a bed to sleep in. Convenient to interstate.
I booked this room as a King or Queen Smoking... When we arrived the room was 2 twin beds and non smoking. And the hotel would not change to what i made the reservation for.
it was a very comfortable and clean room. great value!
Awful!!! We requested non-smoking and I even called the hotel to request it weeks beforehand Our room was filled with smoke! It was a smoking room. Everything was dirty and smelled of smoke. Even the sink had burn marks. I have severe asthma and we had to leave since they did not have a non-smoking room! To date, no one has refunded the charges to me credit card. We never even stayed the night!! It was also annoying to try to reach the front desk because there was no phone in the room! This should not even qualify as a dog motel!!
Clean room, comfortable bed, nice staff, free wi-fi, continental breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised
Nice simple, clean hotel room and very nice service. I visited in February on a long road trip and it was a real treat to be able to pull right up to the door of my room. The heater took a while to get the room warm, as the room was fairly ample, but it did eventually. No pools or exercise rooms but that's not what I paid for, so it was just right. If they want to improve, they could offer to lend travelers an ice scraper and put a more wholesome selection out for the typical continental breakfast. I'd book with them again.
Our room was comfortable and clean. A continental breakfast was included, just rolls & coffee which was fine for us. Motel is close to lots of good resturants.
