Great place as are all Staybridge motels, very clean large room fast internet. nice mini kitchen close to I 80/90 Toll Road. Very quiet and clean, ?I would recommend this motel. It is PET FRIENDLY and close to many dinning spots.
Clean hotel. Great Shower. Comfortable bed and pillows. Complimentary breakfast! AND Mon-Wed they provide a light dinner and beer or wine 😃, on the house! A dozen of restaurants within a 3 minute drive. I'm a return customer (3 times), will stay here again.
We stayed at this property from 11/3-11/5 while we attended the Notre Dame football game. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hospitality of the front desk was very good. The breakfast was on a scale of 7/10 but not bad for a hotel. The fruit was not very good.
Empty wine glass on the counter, hairs and other DNA on the bed, used soap and shampoo in the shower. Front desk said they couldn't move me to another room so I am stuck in this "used" room. Must be some new hires on the cleaning staff. Wasn't really impressed with the front desks response to my complaint either. They offered to change the bedding and do a deep clean tomorrow. I don't know the logistics but it would seem an appropriate response would have been to move me to an available room that is clean and deep clean this room before the rooms filled up. But what do I know?
I gave this establishment 4 stars only because the beds were firm and killed my back, the pillows are balls of foam and horrible, and the rooms next to the dining area on the second floor are loud as you will hear people downstairs and plates clinging. We travel to this town a lot for business, so if I stay here again I will bring my own pillow and ask for a room away from the open landing to the dining area.
To be very clear we didn't actually stay here, however we did try to. We arrived fairly late on a Saturday evening and the only rooms available were studio suites. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful in checking availability and showing us a room in case the studio suite would work, however we really wanted a 1 room suite so said we'd look at other hotels and see what they had. After checking out a couple of options we decided that the Staybridge had nice rooms and the gentleman had been so helpful, so we returned, only to find a lady looking after the front desk. Her understanding of English appeared to be limited, and after around 15 minutes we still didn't know if any rooms of any type were available, never mind how much they would cost so we gave up and went elsewhere. We did ask if the gentleman was available but it appeared he wasn't. On both visits there were drunk guests in the parking and lobby area, and when we looked at the room there was quite a lot of noise.
Rooms are starting to get dirty and nasty. Would recommend something different. Staff was not up front ever. Pool area was dirty towels everywhere. Food is ok but wasn't very much left at 8:00 am and didn't seem like they was bringing more out so we went across the street to find food.
Stayed here for a few hours - checked in late and out early. Took about 10 minutes to check in. Wasn't able to get an upgrade - desk clerk said it wasn't going through so it must not be available (lots of rooms available I was earlier told). So, whatever. We get to the room and there are no sheets for the couch. My son couldn't be bothered and we figured it would take forever so he slept directly on the mattress pad (yuck). We were too early for breakfast but were told we could have whatever was out which was fantastic. Would have been nicer if they'd have turned the lights on for those of us who weren't able to wait until 6:30.
Made a quick trip up to Elkhart for a business meeting. Arrived in Chicago Midway airport and drove down to the hotel. Got in a little later than expected and just missed the food and drinks provided for guests. Ended up going out to grab a bite, but I do like the fact that if you don't want to leave for dinner, most nights there is plenty of food and drink provided for guests. Will definitely stay when back in the area.
Make sure a book a room at the Staybridge. See Robert at the C/S desk. He will take care of you in the best way. Being a HGI Rewards member has its perks and this place lets you earn most all of them.
