We only needed a room for one night, which seems to be impossible to find on a football weekend. Held my breath as I booked this. Never have stayed at an Extended Stay. Room was fine. It was very basic, but that was all we needed. Luckily it was clean and quiet. About ten minutes from ND campus and easy to find. And a Starbucks next door. Fit our needs for that night.
I did not book this hotel but was forced to come here after my original "confirmed" reservation at another Extended Stay America location was full/overbooked. As someone has mentioned, there is some strange smell getting from lobby to the hallway. The room is dated. The AC is loud and is blowing air right to my face, so I had to turn it off while sleeping. There is reason it is cheaper and available on a busy weekend.
I was stunned by how affordable the room was in the beginning. As I was dropping off my luggage in the room I realized the room came with all the commodities of home! I get a better deal than I had realized! EXECELLENT EXPERIENCE!
Room and staff were great. Check in and check out we're fast and easy. Parked right out front. The wedding was right down the road. Made it easy to get to early Saturday church event. Great price for what we needed. Which was just a place to sleep shower and go
Loud parties in hallways all night with no response from desk personal . Appliances rattled through the night. Wouldn't stay here again. After calling front desk 2 times the party in the rooms and hallway lasted until 4:00am. Clientele seems a little seedy
Stayed 1 night last week and was not impressed. Only good thing about hotel was the staff- friendly, go out of there way to help. Booked on smoking room to get a room that reeked of smoke. Was switched to another room that was better but entire floor smelled of smoke. Bathroom not the cleanest and only grab to go breakfast. Won't stay at that location again.
Great location and exceptionally clean. The staff is accommodating and very friendly. I definitely recommend this Property! Recent updates make this a very nice place to stay while in Mishawaka/South Bend area.
We got a great value at a great rate through hotels.com. Location was safe, with free parking, and next to conveniences like Starbucks. Quiet area and quiet hotel. We had a small kitchenette in our room with stove, full fridge, and microwave. The AC/fan unit didn't work properly, but we made due and stayed relatively comfortable. Room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, shower was hot. Internet and TV was fine. Breakfast on the go literally only means a granola bar and coffee though. All in all, I would definitely stay here again, but next time I would bring groceries and utilize the kitchen.
We stayed for one night after a Notre Dame night football game. We were lucky to only have to stay one night as most hotels require 2 nights on football weekends. We booked through hotel.com or something similar, so that might be why we got 1 night only. It was more than $300 for night, which is what you get on football weekends. The room was decent size and clean. The queen size bed was small. They don't put utensils in the room unless you ask for them, which includes glasses. They have a kitchen, but no coffee maker in the room There is a "breakfast bar" which has prewrapped muffins. The coffee was bad and the cream was sweetened. It is a pretty bad breakfast. You do have a kitchen where you can make breakfast if you want to. We went next door to the Marriott Courtyard for breakfast. I like their oatmeal. Breakfast for 2 cost about $20. It was ok. The room was OK. It wasn't loud. The TV did not have Fox Sports network, so we would not have been able to watch the Cubs-Dodgers game in the room if we had left the ND game early. They don't give wake up calls. One table lamp next to the bed was broken.
Don't stay here if you are spending a lot of time in room. Plan to eat breakfast out, including coffee. Breakfast is just granola bars; coffee has powdered creamer. Cheaper stay but you get what you pay for. Unidentified funky smells in hallway on 2nd floor.
