Great place to stay in Mishawaka close to shopping and restaurants nice friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms very nice visit will definitely keep coming back. The one thing I really liked is the rooms nice and clean
My boyfriend and I decided to get a hotel since our heat was off since the flooding. We called to book and was told we’d be at the south hotel, we get here and they tell my boyfriend that they were booked and they had no room available for us. They sent us to the north hotel to see if the booking was actually meant to be there. We get there(to the north hotel) and they told him again that he needed to call and have the south transfer over our reservation because they had room they just needed the reservation.. nobody answered.. so we drive back to the south hotel to have them transfer over our reservation but since they were booked the lady at the counter told us she couldn’t type anything into the computer(she didn’t even try she just stood there) so she told us to just act as a “walk in” at the north hotel? Okay why didn’t anyone tell us this in the first place would’ve saved so much more time. So we go to the hotel, get our room, and the manager was supposed to speak to us because we had such a awful time getting a room and we never heard from him. So now a week since we’ve been there, my boyfriend and I are looking at our bank statements and they charged us way over the rate that was set and the south hotel charged us a “no show” bill. Our bill should’ve been $224 and ended up being $320. If you plan on staying here just do a walk in because they hire idiots to work for them.
I would not stay here again. If I could rate it zero, I would. There was a used Kleenex, a stick from a sucker, and rubber bands with hair in them on the floor. A bug crawled up the wall. There was soap residue left in the shower and unidentified residue by the sink. The carpet is stained in all kinds of ways. The front desk staff is often gone, with a sign saying we will be back in less than 5 minutes. Not sure what kind of watch they’re using, always more than 5 minutes. Will never stay again. Would not recommend to anyone.
We only needed a room for one night, which seems to be impossible to find on a football weekend. Held my breath as I booked this. Never have stayed at an Extended Stay. Room was fine. It was very basic, but that was all we needed. Luckily it was clean and quiet. About ten minutes from ND campus and easy to find. And a Starbucks next door. Fit our needs for that night.
I did not book this hotel but was forced to come here after my original "confirmed" reservation at another Extended Stay America location was full/overbooked. As someone has mentioned, there is some strange smell getting from lobby to the hallway. The room is dated. The AC is loud and is blowing air right to my face, so I had to turn it off while sleeping. There is reason it is cheaper and available on a busy weekend.
I was stunned by how affordable the room was in the beginning. As I was dropping off my luggage in the room I realized the room came with all the commodities of home! I get a better deal than I had realized! EXECELLENT EXPERIENCE!
Room and staff were great. Check in and check out we're fast and easy. Parked right out front. The wedding was right down the road. Made it easy to get to early Saturday church event. Great price for what we needed. Which was just a place to sleep shower and go
Loud parties in hallways all night with no response from desk personal . Appliances rattled through the night. Wouldn't stay here again. After calling front desk 2 times the party in the rooms and hallway lasted until 4:00am. Clientele seems a little seedy
Stayed 1 night last week and was not impressed. Only good thing about hotel was the staff- friendly, go out of there way to help. Booked on smoking room to get a room that reeked of smoke. Was switched to another room that was better but entire floor smelled of smoke. Bathroom not the cleanest and only grab to go breakfast. Won't stay at that location again.
Great location and exceptionally clean. The staff is accommodating and very friendly. I definitely recommend this Property! Recent updates make this a very nice place to stay while in Mishawaka/South Bend area.
