The Staff here has given us Exceptional Service long before we even got here! We had ice damming at our house and will be staying here for 9 to 12 days while our Home is being restored. Kristina in sales talked to me many times to get us the rooms we needed. Then Heidi left snacks for us with the sweetest note acknowledging the difficult time we are going thru. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those in need of a kitchen during their stay! Thank You Kristina and Heidi! ~Jonathan, Jennifer and Mookie (Dog) Stanley
Hotel sits in a nicer business/office park type district, with lots of restaurants and retail nearby. Quiet hotel, nicely appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, with large Could use some better bed pillows, and a little better variety for breakfast (second waffle maker? couldn't get near it), fresh fruit.
I travel to South Bend a couple of times a year for work. I stayed at the Residence Inn this time for the kitchen since I can't drive due to an injury. The room was very clean and comfortable, and Tami puts together a great breakfast in the mornings. All staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be back!
I work for Coastal Quality Construction we are doing a course life eatery and grape Road in Mishawaka Indiana I’ve stayed at the residence Inn part of January And FebruaryThe Brofist lady Tammy was excellent her food was great she was courteous
Nice place to stay staff was excellent.rooms are big soft beds.we worked out in Mishawaka for 16 days.all ways had coffee I lobby we get up at 5:00 was nice to go down get a cup.will stay again real nice pool.
The room was clean and very quiet. The front desk staff were not friendly but polite. The breakfast had a good selection of eggs, protein, and I liked the fresh cut strawberries and cantaloupe. The hotel is close to restaurants. I would consider staying here again.
All the old staff is gone. Now the hotel is run by rude and unfriendly staff. I have never been treated in such a rude and disrespected manner before. You can thank Heidi for my termination of loyality. The cleanliness of the rooms is far from acceptable. I will be speaking with my company executives to pull our employees from Residence Inn to be placed into another propery!
My wife and I are driving our two cars west en route to my new military assignment and stopped here for the night. Shams, the front desk clerk, was quick and efficient getting us checked but I was very disappointed at the foot of snow in the parking lot. We both have 4WD SUVs and we fishtailed all over the place. According to Shams it snowed YESTERDAY so I’m not understanding why the lot isn’t plowed...
Housekeeping is the lifeblood of any hotel, if it's good the property will thrive, bad will slowly kill it. This hotel is on a path to the latter. Housekeeping here is all bad, Checked in on Sunday evening and found a dirty dish rag in room and musty stick. After further inspection this room was total filth. Range and cook top had grease and grime, inside fridge disgusting. My wife cleaned the inside of fridge before putting groceries in and requested to front desk to have room thoroughly cleaned on Monday. After working 9 hours we returned to the same mess we requested to be cleaned. We spent an hour wiping and dusting all surfaces what a gross mess, but we know for the most part our room is somewhat clean. Next morning I go to fitness center before work for my daily 3 mile walk OMG treadmills unusable caked with dried perspiration dust and grime and other unknown stuff. Asked front office MGR if this could be cleaned, after 2 more requests fitness center unchanged. This is the first time I'm reviewing a property while still occupying the room. Hopefully this review will prompt the MGR to engage me and discuss these issues. I have a longer list of inadequacies that will be posted after giving this hotel to opportunity to remedy these aforementioned issues.
I had a room that was next to a screaming kid. The manager was nice enough to move me. The food was very good. They had a taco night with beer and chips. The location is close to some very good restaurants.
