Absolutely gorgeous. Peaceful. Beautiful view of the Sooke Harbour, Sooke Bay, and the Juan de Fuca Strait, with faded Olympia Mountains in the distance. The sauna was a magnificent bonus, relaxing our muscles after long hikes to wild beaches. Host and hostess were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Amazing hosts! The apartment was clean, modern, and nicely outfitted with the necessities. Rebecca spoiled us with a lovely tray of treats which was greatly appreciated! They go above and beyond providing the sauna, getting it all ready, which was a special treat. Highly recommend staying here!!

Comfortable suite with a beautiful view

We stayed at Horizon Hideaway for one week at the beginning of July. The suite is very private, comfortable and well equipped (full kitchen, with good pots/pans/utensils, spices/oil) and with loads of little thoughtful touches (like snacks, enough coffee and tea to last us the week, blankets for cool nights on the two patios). There is a gorgeous view of the inlet and East Sooke from the patio, and we enjoyed our morning coffees and afternoon happy hours there! The hosts have really put a lot of thought into making the space welcoming and comfortable for their guests.

We had such a great visit. The view was lovely, the hot tub was fabulous, and it was amazing that I was able to bring my pup with us! Very comfortable, with a beautiful garden. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for the lovely stay!

This is a fantastic rental! We’ve never stayed in a rental that provided the amenities that this particular one did. It was beautiful and the hot tub was a wonderful addition. The views were amazing. We’ll recommend this to our friends and hope to be back soon!
