The hotel has a modern atmosphere, spacious room, fantastic location, great restaurant and ok breakfast. One of those places you really try hard to like. The main issue was an aloof, excessively casual/indifferent, careless posture from valet parking and front desk staff in all days. It seems to be an issue as it happened in both days, with more than one team. Breakfast staff was great, bar was appropriate. I am not sure about the strategy here as there are plenty of modern hotels on Bay Area with a similar proposal, with much warmer and more attentive personnel.
We stayed our last 2 nights of our honeymoon at this beautiful modern hotel. The pool was great and the room very clean. Breakfast is included with the room and delicious. The bar is very cool - have a fun drink there! The front desk was very helpful in shopping our wine (they have a service and will handle payment and everything). They also have bikes for free. Cute town too. The only downside could be parking - we found a spot across the street but if you can't they have valet so no big deal.
Absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast in the morning was also awesome, they had a nice spread in addition to made to order meals. The water stations had to be my favorite part, my husband and I drink a ton of water and were over the moon to have it available everywhere for free! And it was cold! Would love to stay here again when back in the area.
We really enjoyed and loved this hotel, the room was beautiful, modern ...great taste. Ours overlooked the pool, a series of little details like an amazing new nespresso machine in the room, cookies, nuts, water..... The staff was really friendly, breakfast very good. I do agree that the nightly rate was a bit high.
Stayed here with a friend for two nights while visiting the area. Would stay again without question. Checkin was fast and efficient and the staff had answers to all of our questions, clearly knowledgeable about local area restaurants. There are lots of extras included - coffee (french press) and water (inc sparkling), a substantial breakfast (some gluten free options each day) and $25 credit to restaurant. The only extra charge was for valet parking ($15). The room was efficiently laid out. Bed can be split into twins and was very comfortable. Many eco friendly features throughout. A California version of Hotel Vermont in Burlington.
We stayed for a girls get away and at 500 dollars a night the hotel was overpriced. Perhaps it was the inattentive staff or the room that was clean - but not really clean or the noisy hallways that underwhelmed me. It wasn't a good value.
We did not end up using all of the amenities, but enjoyed our one night stay there. Room was nice and large. We were able to walk around Healdsburg very easily from the hotel, as it was right off the main square. All the staff we interacted with were great. I would stay again if in the area.
My wife and I tried to stay a couple of nights at the H2Hotel with some friends for the weekend of the Santa Rosa Ironman. A few minutes after checking in we had a problem with the electricity in our room. There was no other room available and they offered us a room at their sister hotel Healdsburg Hotel (Hh), telling us it was an "upgrade" to a better room and providing a couple of hundreds in credit. The new room was more of a downgrade and the Hh hotel is not better than the H2. Besides separating us from our group and having to pack and unpack everything again, we had to walk our luggage from one hotel to the other (no help was offered). I found the Hh room and common areas with some maintenance issues and took to time to ask for the hotel manager's email (Mr Zhadi) to provide feedback on our experience. 4 days after I haven't received a reply yet. The staff at both hotels are young kids with an arrogant vibe. Looks like a corporate cultural problem coming all the way from the top. Both hotels are modern and nice, and very well located, hence my 2 star rating, they just seem to forget the hospitality concept.
Stayed 2 nights in May 2017. Hotel is in a great location and has well-equipped rooms. Enjoyed the full breakfast and had excellent service throughout the whole stay. Highly recommended and would stay again.
H2 is a nice hotel. Great location yet a bit noisy. They could work on the comfort of the beds. Front desk was efficient and breakfast buffet was nice. Meeting rooms were fine and food service was good.
