We had a hard time finding a room for a family of five, but the Hampton in Amsterdam was one of the few hotels that offered a large room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was very clean with a nice view of the courtyard at the front of the hotel. The bathroom was a standard size but it ...
Overall good hotel. Rooms were big, beds were comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Location: Nothing nearby as far as stores, restaurants, but the metro/bus station is a 10-15 minute walk so you can get around fairly easily. The restaurant at the hotel could offer a better selection, ...

The girl at the front desk simply said she could do notting about it. Then one morning we were woken ...

We had a hard time finding a room for a family of five, but the Hampton in Amsterdam was one of the few hotels that offered a large room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was very clean with a nice view of the courtyard at the front of the hotel. The bathroom was a standard size but it was very bright and the water pressure for the shower was perfect. The free buffet style breakfast included eggs, sausage, bacon, made to order waffles, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit and pastries. Coffee, milk and juice is also included. The large comfortable area for eating breakfast is very busy in the morning. In the room you find a small safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a flat screen TV with many international channels.
Nice place. Has more room than hotels in Amsterdam. Quiet and good staff.
nice place, reasonable...away from the city center...but we knew rhat and worked around it...it was close to the trains, which we used.
We enjoyed one overnight stay. This hotel was close to sights in Amersfoort but we enjoyed free parking and a complete breakfast buffet. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the room was a little cramped but adequate for a one night stay
