Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brockville

Hotel was clean, but you could hear flushing from other rooms until wee hours of the night, shower head was pretty crappy, and the exhaust fan did not work. Pillows needed to be replaced along time ago, like years ago. This was a newer looking hotel, little disappointed for the age of building.

We were traveling through and just so happened to get the last room available in town! We were some lucky. Rooms were very deep in length. Quiet hotel. Great staff. Nice breakfast in morning. Stay on the parking lot side, not the highway side and it won't be as noisy. Would recommend.

Confusion even booking by phone. Double room 2 queen beds, then a call the next day it was n/a, upon arrival the following day it was available. Beds and bathroom were clean, the carpet.... eeew! $175 was for one night definitely overpriced. Breakfast very basic a local diner would have been preferable. Evening desk staff swooped in one entrance and out the next merely acknowledging our entrance at 9:45pm, not giving me a chance for any question - not good service at all. We will not stay there again. Duvet covers should have been on the duvet's instead of a transparent sheet on either side, that was not comfortable from a few view points. Last point, it was hard to find, look for The Comfort Inn or Travel Lodge it's just down the road.

We were there in the early springtime. Holiday Inn is usually a safe bet. One thing about this motel is its proximity to the highway. One side faces the traffic noise. If you can, take the rooms on the opposite side of the highway. They know they may have a noise issue because ear plugs were waiting for us right next to the phone. This is the one of the cheapest ways to cut out the noise of traffic. Since my stay there, I always bring ear plugs wherever we go now. Robert

This hotel is located just off the 401. If you stay, ask for a room away from the highway. The noise wasn't terrible (and they provide free ear plugs just in case) but I would have prefered a bit quieter location. The rooms were clean, large and well furnished. A mini fridge would have been a nice addition. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a huge assortment of things to chose from. Every staff member I spoke with was very friendly and polite. The girl at the front desk on the night shift even helped me make my next Holiday Inn reservation in Ottawa. The fitness room is basic, only has cardio machines: no weights or resistance machines.

We were very lucky to be upgraded to a suite! Hotel and rooms very clean. Staff were very accomodating, knowledgeable and even provided free laundry detergent, and popcorn for the kids :-) Im never too keen on the Holiday Inn breakfast but this is a brand issue not down to this hotel. A great stopover location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. Only downsides were that the room looks out over the 401 so it is pretty noisy, and the suite is not really a suite, it is just a big room (in other words, it is not two separate rooms.). The hotel is a little expensive for what you get, but the city has few other options (or locations).

I've been to many hotels, and this one is very average compared to the rest. Not bad, not super amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious. They offer free popcorn and lemonade and the room keepers left us tic tacs. The only bad thing I would say is that there was a lack of outlets near the beds and the beds weren't super comfy.

I was just in Brockville and I have been to over 75 Holiday Inn Express locations and there is nothing better. The rates are what they are, but that comes with everything so darn good. From amenities, pool, hot tub, clean comfortable beds, working ice machines, friendly staff, accommodating 11am arrival to the cinnamon buns at breakfast. This Brockville location did a great job in every way.

I was pleasantly surprised of the spaciousness of the room with a decent sized sitting area. Hotel was clean and well kept. Beddings were extremely comfortable, especially the pillows. Staff was friendly with quick check-in/out. Food options for breakfast was sufficient to kick-start my day.
