Was very disappointed in our room. We’ve been staying at the lodge for more than a decade and this room did not have a jacuzzi bath tub, even though every single other time we’ve stayed there we’ve had one. Also, the new floors were very unwelcoming and not cozy/homey. We love everything about the Scandinavian lodge otherwise, we’re just very disappointed in that particular room. No outlets on the sides of the bed to charge phones.

The place needs a major update. Carports in the hallways and in the units was old and outdated. The room rates are expensive so the place can afford to reinvest their room revenue back into the property. It seems in the last 20 years nothing was updated. Front desk ppl had no customer personality.

Suites were very nice option. Would only recommend better supervision for pool/hot tub/sauna areas. Basketballs thrown from hot tub to pool out of control. Adults and kids acted like free for all and no staff around except 1 front desk worker. Note no overnight staff on site. A nice place to stay but need some better supervision of common areas like pool area.

Huge property and imagine much to do in summer. we were there in winter and liked the location near downtown Sister Bay. The staff were quite friendly and answered all our questions. First time in Sister Bay - not much open but our room was very comfortable. Liked the thermostats in each room. so bedrooms were very quiet, and cool for sleeping. AND there was a fireplace which made the family room quite impressive.
