We got the two bedroom suite. It was wonderful for our needs. Nice swimming pool and breakfast. Senior rate starts at age 62, it was a better rate than AAA. This made it far less expensive that having adjoining rooms at other hotels. It had a nice living room/kitchen area. The only drawback was that bathrooms were only accessed through either bedroom. We had three couples booked, but this caused one couple to go elsewhere.Wood burning fireplace seemed nice, but could be worrisome with inappropriate use in other rooms. Pet fee of $75 seems high, so left ours behind, however at least they are allowed.
I stayed here for 5 nights. I must have made a mistake making my reservation, because they had me checking out a day early. They were VERY kind and helpful to correct, no drama. My open suite was very clean, bed comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. I liked the evening light meal served several nights, the food was tasty, and appreciated I could just come back there for supper since I don’t like to have to go out to eat by myself. Breakfast very good with fresh fruit, eggs and sausage.
Stayed here with the family for the weekend. Close to a lot of attractions. Nice beds nice pool nice breakfast nice service. Basically this hotel is very nice!!! Highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for convenience and close proximity to shopping and places to eat.
We always try stay at the Residence Inn if there is one available. We love the 2 bedroom suites, it feels like a second home to us! This one in Sioux Falls is old (built in the early 90s and was renovated some in 2012); you can tell by the tile on the floor, doors, old fireplaces, layout of the motel, and the pool wasn’t great (the water was actually hot, which I thought was strange). The breakfast wasn’t awesome. Was looking forward to the potatoes other Residence Inns have and they didn’t have them.
On short notice, 4 siblings & there spouses decided to meet in Sioux Falls. Not a lot of choices for suites at other hotels but we found 2 - 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suites w/kitchen facilities here. We asked, if possible, to have the rooms close to each other. We were accommodated & located across the hall from each other. Knowing we had a kitchen, we brought food, snacks, games & refreshments & managed to never leave the hotel! Breakfast was great with a good variety & someone from the hotel staff was always clearing the empty dishes from the tables. Very friendly!
Stayed one night while in Sioux Falls. We were greeted warmly by Victoria at the front desk. She gave us a great room (120) and suggested several restaurants in the area. We enjoyed drinking coffee in front of the fireplace. Our room ( a 1 bedroom suite) was very clean, nicely appointed and well furnished. Breakfast was complete with hot and cold choices (eggs/sausage/biscuits/gravy/waffles/cereal/etc !). Altho we were near an exit door, the room was quiet. We will definitely be back and stay when we are in the area.
Every time I come to Sioux Falls this is my "home away from home". The rooms are spacious and quiet. The breakfast is very good, as are the evening get-togethers. Thanks to Tammy and Khristy for their attentive care in the food department!! The entire staff here is phenomenal!! Payton is very helpful when I have checked in later in the day. Always so friendly! Victoria is super accommodating and will bend over backwards. The first face I ever saw here was Denice. She is such a sweetheart! I had some car trouble and she set me up with her brother who works in an automotive service center. This is what I call over and above!!! Every staff member is wonderful! Becky, Katy....all of them!! I hope I didn't miss anybody. It is the staff that we come back here or. They make you feel like a part of the family!!
I always stay at this property when I am in Sioux Falls, the young man at the front desk is always so professional and helpful. the rooms are HUGE! they even have an evening mixxer with food and drinks some nights. Highly Recommended
This place was wonderful. The young man at the desk was the start of a good experience. Very clean, spacious, and good breakfast. Close to many restaurants and very quiet. It seemed pretty new to the area.
Hotel seemed to be in pretty good shape. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Only minor thing was the carafe was obviously a replacement to the inexpensive coffee maker and was not easy to use so to its mismatch. Breakfast was as expected but the crowd drained most things and was not readily being refilled. Again, very minor. I would come back here.
