New. Just what we needed for two day stay. Staff friendly. Beds were excellent. Breakfast was more than at other hotels offering complimentary breakfast. Being retired military, access to Fort Huachuca was no problem. Security requires ID. Due to security, bags cannot be dropped off at front entry. The parking lot is slightly inconvenient, but baggage carts are available. Thus not a problem. The rooms are large and comfortable. Excellent stay.
This was definitely a 5 star couple's get away with my wonderful husband. The staff was amazing and treated their guests like family. Everything was clean and the rooms were very Nice! We will definitely return for another stay!
This was my first experience at Candlewood Suites, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. It is clean, very comfortable, and the staff does a perfect job of making sure their customers are satisfied. This definitely would be a recommendation to a friend. It's an awesome hotel!
We loved the large table! The furniture was old but really a problem (they were in the middle of a remodel so I'm sure it has changed.) It would be nice if they had a breakfast. We loved the pool! The kitchen was perfect!
As a man who is constantly on the road, i have stayed at several hotels in my time. But no visit compares to the stay i had at the candlewood suites! The staff was extraordinarily friendly, and the hotel, while a bit withered down, was very clean and taken care of. I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a real family experience, and want to formally thank everyone on staff at this hotel, especially the young woman, Brenda, who always had a friendly smile and heartfelt greeting and daily goodbye as i left the property. She along with the rest of the staff made my stay one of the best. Thank you!!
The hotel is showing its age, but it is very clean and quiet. The staff was wonderful. Norma Jean and Brenda were especially friendly, professional, and helpful. They told us about the community and directed us to restaurants and places where we wanted to go. We did have trouble keeping the room at the right temperature. It is probably regulated with a sensing device on the thermostat, and we don't like that. We prefer to be able to control it ourselves; so, we just kept turning it off and on.
I stay at this candlewood suites several weeks out of the year. The hotel is not the newest but they are planning on a full upgrade before the end of the year. The hotel is nothing outstanding but the staff here is the best I have seen. Buy now they know be name and have gone out of their way on several occasions. Recommend this hotel to anyone who has an extended stay in Sierra Vista.
The staff was friendly and courteous, and tried to do all they could to please. However, this property is sliding. It may be the town itself, or it may be that this hotel doesn't generate enough money to keep it in good shape. Light switch meeded replacing, chairs were severely worn and covered so it wouldn't show, bed was too close to wall (I almost got jammed between bed and wall).
Excellent place to stay outstanding service very well kept and maintained me my daughter and her mother enjoyed our stay over the weekend and are looking forward to coming back again every staff members was very polite and courtesy
We booked two rooms for us to go on a short trip with my in-laws. Both rooms were clean and well kept. Our room had some damage to the recliner and desk chair; looked worn and scratched up. Everything else in the room looked new. All of the rooms at the hotel are dog friendly. I think there was a weight limit, but both of our dogs are 20 lbs or less so there was no problem. The cost was only $15 total for the two nights. What a bargain! The kitchen has a microwave, stove top, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and dishes for two. There is a DVD player in the room and free movies to rent in the office. Free wifi and free parking. Walking distance to an IHOP restaurant. Very close to a Target and Walmart. We stayed in Sierra Vista and travelled to Ramsey Canyon which is only about 20 minutes away. We also went to Bisbee. This is a good location for those things as well as Tombstone and Karchener Caverns. If we had planned better, we easily could have done all of those things. Good customer service for the most part. There was some confusion at checkout time when my in laws left before us but the front desk thought we had checked out. Weird. I will update if anything fishy happens with incorrect charges but so far all is well and we would stay there again. We wanted to use the outdoor pool and jacuzzi but it was really windy during our stay and cold.
